Obama And Clinton Both Play Up Illinois Roots In New Indiana Ads
Barack Obama has a new ad up in Indiana, in which the candidate talks about his knowledge of problems throughout Indiana, making sure to mention that he's from right next door in Illinois:
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has this ad in Indiana about her own Midwestern roots:

OK folks, let's just get used to the fact that anywhere Hillary has squatted to pee is her hometown. Christ, its like a dog marking its territory or something.

Too bad she lost her actual home state, Illinois, in a massive blowout to Obama.

It's a more difficult task than claiming to be from everywhere all at once.

A couple weeks ago, somebody posted something about Hillary having lived in Indiana for about two weeks, as a sort of "mark my words, she's going to claim to be a native." I dared to laugh then.

This all reminds me of the Daily Show skit during the 2004 Democratic Convention when Stephen Colbert was bragging about his roots. He had a tough life growing up in the Turd Belt. His father was a turd miner and his grandfather was a goat ball licker. Now that's some roots!

In the media and the heads of Clinton supporters.
And Hillary's image of do anything say anything continues to grow... Even my 4 yr. old grandson, making a comparison of characters from the Cars Movie told us that Obama is like Lightning McQuine [because he tries to help people]; Hillary is like Chick [because she will do anything to win] and McCain is like The King [because he is an old guy].

How many "home states" can one person have? Every damn state she goes to she tries to stretch out some kind of "I'm from here!" advantage.
