New McCain Ad: Hillary And Obama Will Answer The 3 a.m. Economic Crisis โ By Raising Your Taxes
John McCain's campaign has rolled out a rebuttal ad to Hillary Clinton's 3 a.m. economic crisis ad, which singled out McCain instead of Barack Obama. No media buys have been announced yet for the ad, which charges that both Hillary and Obama would answer economic troubles by raising your taxes, but here it is:
The ad is an awful lot like Barack Obama's original rebuttal to Hillary's 3 a.m. ad in Ohio and Texas, using mostly the same footage and the same introduction to then parody her โ and in his case, it wasn't too successful.

Can anybody in the whole universe explain to me why the DNC hasn't yanked Clinton's fucking Super-delegate status. Next to gonnacus bacteria Hilary is the biggest single gift to John McCain and Republican Party.

This response proves that his only constituents are those with an income above 200,000 and corporations.

A plan eh...has anyone actually seen this in anything approaching a substantive proposal? all ive seen is vague lip service.
if you don't vote, you shouldn't be able to complain about politics, if you dont present your own economic plan you shouldn't get to criticize other peoples plans

McCain's point sounds just like what Bush said in 2000. "No new taxes!!"

Does anyone work at the White House during normal working hours. This many 3 AM calls tell me someone's not top of the situation.

Considering that Obama won Texas I'd say his 3 a.m. ad wasn't really unsuccessful either.

Hillary's new 3am ad confused me. But this one is just baffling. I mean, honestly, what does a 3am phone call about the economy have to do with raising taxes? Also, I really wish McCain would stop making claims and not backing them up. As RPC said, it's all vague lip service.

Eric,
You're starting to get silly. When the McCain and Clinton campaigns, both run by employees of the same beltway PR firm, make the same silly economic ad, you still find a way to slam Obama. These ads are quite silly, and face it--that's not Obama's fault. Hillary can't come up with a new idea, but to fearmonger people into voting your way is a Republican stunt you would have decried a mere year ago. Now, you seem to gloss it over because your losing candidate has stooped to this.
*Sigh*
As Clinton said over a year ago, get on board or get off the train. Because your candidate isn't getting the nomination.

I'm old too so I figure McCain will probably wake up around 3 am. Problem is he will be asleep during the middle of the day!

Two things, if the media gives his response ad the type of coverage that they didn't bother to give Barack's response pre-Ohio, I'll be PISSED!
Second, it looks like McCain is now officially using this extended primary to try to tie Hillary Clinton and Obama together in the minds of voters.

Hillary's started a new trend...
But what's this!? He didn't say "I'm John McCain and I approve this message"! Maybe because he DOESN'T approve it. He has absolutely NO PLAN AT ALL for our economy. Vote right: vote democrat.

Actually, that's a good catch. It's not a real ad, it's just something someone in the McCain camp threw together for consumption on the internet. Basically, fodder for blogs like this to keep his name in the conversation.
Move along folks, nothing to see here.

The 3 am ad is officially dead.
Who watches these things anymore, they all sound and look alike, and the issues are muddled.
BTW, Obama needs to get this ad on in PA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXmYVRIpu2w
After all, they keep using the same footage. :)

1. Clinton needs to get out of the way before McSame gets more free rides.
2. How does McSame intend to pay for his 100 year wars? On the backs of our children, grandchildren and now our great-grandchildren?
3. The media will help McSame get elected no matter who the Democratic candidate is.
4. The only vote we can cast is with our pocketbook.

Hey, America! You may be losing your house and your job, the country and its armed forces are going down the tubes because we blundered into an unnecessary war, the deficit is at record highs, you're paying record prices for gas and food, we've gutted protections for your food and kids' toys and airline safety and clean air and water, but give us four more years because those guys might raise your taxes!
Yeah, that'll work. Please keep that up, Mr. McCain!
