McCain Camp Misspells His Name In Web Ad
Snarkity snarkity snark. Looks like the McCain campaign made a bit of a boo-boo in this Web ad...

"Johm" McCain, eh? As the irrepressible Instaputz, who first caught this, puts it: "this might explain his problems distinguishing between Iraq and Iran."
I'd only add that McCain isn't allowed to have some other dude funding his ads, even if it is his demented twin brother. Looks like we've nabbed him in a campaign finance violation here.

Now Johm McCain is a guy you can vote for! THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!! FOR JOHN McCAIN!!!!!

Who cares about some McCain underlings spelling.
How about the limpwristed one saying-
"I'm Barack Obama. I don't take money from oil companies or Washington lobbyists, and I won't let them block change anymore. They'll pay a penalty on windfall profits. We'll invest in alternative energy, create jobs and free ourselves from foreign oil.
Obama says in his ad that he's never taken any money from oil companies. No one does, because it's illegal. Yet he has taken $213k from employees of oil companies. Two of his bundlers are top execs at oil companies. Obama sided with Dick Cheney in voting for Dick Cheney's energy bill - the best bill that oil companies could buy. Hillary voted against the bill which DemBillC is on record saying it is the Worst in History. Obama's words, once again, don't match his actions. Obama Lies again.
Just tell your Momma, say Nobama.

Schmedley, Hillary Obviously. You know the women that classy Obama supporters like to call a F*cking Wh*re? She voted against Cheney's bill, unlike Obama and McCain. Can you call a man whore?
Like if I said Obama is a F*cking Wh*re.
Nope, it is beneath me.
April 9, 2008 3:14 PM | Reply | Permalink
So, let's see if I understand you: I should vote for Clinton because 1) she voted against McCain/Cheney; 2) Randi Rhodes called her a Fucking Whore (I don't see how * = u AND o; that's just not logical).
That's it?
That's all you've got?
Try again. How about comparing and contrasting Clinton's management style with Obama's using their presidential campaigns as subject matter? On that basis, who should I vote for?

We are led to believe that Hillary's win in New Hampshire occurred because vast crowds of women saw her cry and felt she was being picked on by the media, so they abandoned all reason and intelligence and rushed to the polls to vote for her simply out of revenge. I don't buy it, I think there are lots of other reasons she won in that state. But just in case you were looking for a third reason to vote for her, here ya go. She gets picked on.

Let me get this straight.
On a progressive-leaning blog, rather than uniting (if only for a moment) to jointly pounce on a McCain error, you'd rather continue your pointless tirade on Obama.
Don't you understand that the REAL adversary is McCain and the GOP?
Is your hate of Obama so strong that you're irretrievably lost to the Dark Side?

Oh No! Obama must be completely owned by the oil lobby because individuals who work in the oil industry have contributed $213,000 of the over $200,000,000 he's raised! That's it, I'm voting for McCain or jumping off a bridge or joining Al Qaeda or something...

I will just say that Obama is Dick Cheney's Bitch.
April 9, 2008 3:15 PM | Reply | Permalink
You've LONG since stooped to FAR below Obama supporter's level.
If you stopped hatin' for a moment you'd realize you've gone so far in your hatred that you're holding hands with Cheney and Hannity.
EITHER Dem candidate is a FAR cry better than McCain. The sooner we start to go positive and start attacking the GOP and THEIR trolls, the easier it will be for one of our two fine candidates to win in November.
We have a common adversary that is laughing at us and our squabbles. That adversary doesn't care about women's rights, civil rights, the Bill of Rights or the Constitution. It cares about permanent tax cuts, permanet wars and permanent division amongst the working classes of America.
Get over your mad-on and help us beat McCain as we will help Hillary beat McCain should she win.
The Country is more important than this rift. Really.

Jaysin 1414, it is impossible to stoop below Obama supporters level, calling my candidate a F*cking Wh*re multiple times at an Obama fundraiser with a cheering Obama croud is the lowpoint in American Political History. Obama supporters are officially Scumbags. Each and everyone of you.

So you're holding the views of one radio shock-jock as representative of each and every Barack Obama supporter?
If you do, you'd be wrong.
That kind of language against ANY candidate is deplorable and intolerable. It's disrepectful of a U.S. Senator and former First Lady of the United States.
However, it wasn't an Obama-event. He wasn't there, it wasn't a fund-raiser. It had nothing to do with Obama whatsoever.
It was a local radio station meet and greet (Green 960 of San Francisco).
The name-calling has gone on from both sides (can't tell you how many times I've been called a cultist, kool-aid drinker, etc.) but IT'S IRRELEVANT. I don't know you personally, nor you me. We will probably never meet, your life won't affect mine, nor will I affect your life. HOWEVER, come November if we can't support one another we can BOTH get stuck with another 4 years or more of Bush.
I'm not asking you to switch candidates, I'm just asking that you consider the consequences of letting your anger cloud your better judgement and helping to elect a war-mongering foreign policy incompetent with anger-management issues.
I can't apologize officially for Randi Rhodes, but I agree with you that it was a classless thing to say.

dembill - If a stupid comment by some radio host completely unaffiliated with the Obama campaign is the best you can come up with, you're in trouble. What does that comment have to do with Iraq? The economy? Beating McCaim? Jack squat, that's what.
Open your eyes and talk about something substantive.
And I'd much rather have a candidate who voted for a crappy energy bill than a candidate who voted for an authorization to wage a disastrous war. And what about the Iran resolution?
April 9, 2008 4:17 PM | Reply | Permalink
It wasn't an Obama fundraiser. It was an affiliate event (KKGM 960AM - Green 960) to meet Randi Rhodes. Nice work on getting your facts wrong.

Maybe folks who happen to work at oil companies like Obama's message. He can't help that.
Hillary, however, gets more money from Drug Companies than any other member of Congress. And more lobbyist money than any other candidate in the race -- including McAnus. So exactly who is she going to serve?
Hillary says she oppose Columbia -- like she did NAFTA? But you can bet your soiled panties that once she gets up in that big house, she's gonna pass that trade deal faster than Eli Manning does a touchdown to the Patriot endzone.
April 9, 2008 3:17 PM | Reply | Permalink
And we're supposed to trust her on the health care issue, one part of which involves the need to negotiate Medicare drug prices with Big Pharma. Methinks in that context, I really don't like how much money she gets from Big Pharma.

And who gives a creaking crap what dembillc (or DemBillC) is on record saying? (And What is the Deal with the Capital Letters, dbc?) Quoting yourself does not make news, methinks.
dembillc is a garden variety racist, nothing more or less. Even Hillary doesn't want your support. If you weren't so insignificant, she'd have to apologize for you.

Classy Obambam comeback. Your mind is really in the gutter, I am sorry your mother did not love you and your wife left. I will say you sound like one of the more intelligent Obama supporters.
A White House document shows that executives from big oil companies met with Vice President Cheney's energy task force in 2001 -- something long suspected by environmentalists but denied as recently as last week by industry officials testifying before Congress. The document, obtained this week by The Washington Post, shows that officials from Exxon Mobil Corp., Conoco (before its merger with Phillips), Shell Oil Co. and BP America Inc. met in the White House complex with the Cheney aides who were developing a national energy policy, parts of which became law in Cheney's Oil Bill.

Geez Louise, dembillc, you ignorant slut.
It's easy for you to talk about other peoples' wives and mothers and pets and children, since as a racist and registered sex offender you don't have any of those things.
I think we all knew about Cheney's task force. Just in case anybody's keeping score, dembillc's "argument" is this: because somebody who works for an oil company gave money to Obama, Obama is responsible for what Cheney's task force did...in 2001.
You have no intelligence. You have no being. You have no voice, and no face; and when Obama becomes President, you will just return to the primeval muck whence ye came. Of all the trolls here, you are the only one that is congenitally incapable of even making us laugh, I mean, at least gotalife comes out and does a few ridiculous pratfalls.
To call you a piece of shit is to magnify your importance, because I don't pay that much attention to the dirt or trash my feet trample as I walk.
You are just an epiphenomenon of the way blogs work. Pretending to make arguments in favor of a candidate who lost all chance of success weeks if not months ago, and deluding yourself into thinking that the reasonably well-educated posters don't realize that you turned fifteen in the 6th grade. People who think you belong in this conversation happen upon your mechanical maunderings and react with shock or anger. And that's all you have to feed on, you unutterably pathetic excuse for a disembodied simulacrum.
There's a reason why you haven't bothered to choose an avatar, while some of your fellow trolls change avatars every week. It's because we others are no more real to you than you are to us. Your "response" to me is as thoughtless and mechanical as all your posts are.
But I know what your proper avatar is. I'm sure almost all of us have seen "The Shining".
Well, dembillc's face is the face of Jack Nicholson in the very last frame - dead, frozen solid in the middle of a convulsion of ugliness.
When you see dembillc's avatar blank, just mentally add in that corpse-lidded, cross-eyed stare of death. And really, don't bother to answer him anymore. Of all the trolls we let play in our little corner of the blogosphere, he is the most useless. He really, really is not there.
