Rasmussen: Both Dems Edging McCain In Nevada

A new Rasmussen poll of Nevada shows that this red state could be poised to vote Democratic this time around, with both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton narrowly beating John McCain for now:

Clinton (D) 44%, McCain (R) 43%
Obama (D) 45%, McCain (R) 41%

Nevada is a key swing state that voted twice for President Bush, but only narrowly each time.

The last NV poll I saw had Obama beating McCain and Hillary losing to him. Taken all together, along with the obvious surge of anti-Hillary GOP voters if she is the nominee, I think it is safe to assume there is no way in hell we could win NV with Hillary, and we possibly can with Obama.

Obama can win VN, CO, & NM...He can also pick up VA and one of the Carolinas!

I don't think we should spend too much in Florida!

Just another poll showing that Obama is a better general election candidate than Hillary Clinton. Just another poll showing that Barrack expands the Democratic base and electoral college and Hillary does not. Seriously, what more do the super delegates need?

This is why the Rethugs are ganging up on Barack.

The Fox and the Rethugs unlike the so called Democratic leaders know thaty Barack is the real threat.

Barack even caused an intra open warfare at Fox between Chris Wallace and the morons at Fox and Friends. Go figure

Hillary won Nevada, therefore Obama can't win it. IT'S SCIENCE!

I read an awful lot of Obama blather on this website. No doubt, because Mr. Marshall leans that way.

Josh should not forget that there is more than one way to win the general election. I believe the polls, like the one for Nevada, are just a tad early.

The Clintonians are telling telling Obama worshipers that there is a hard ominous 'Reality Check' looming. No matter how much they want Obama to carry the cross of the Party, he may not make it, and if he does get the nomination, the abyss still may open wide for him.

Mr. Marshall' notion that it all goes down to pledge delegates and super delegates is naive.

Those bloggers, who are staring at the electoral college numbers, red state minority delegate counts, have a point.

So does those who point out that cacauses do not represent most general voters of any state. Finally, add to this the millions of disgruntled voters from Michigan and Florida, and Senator Obama may be more trouble than Josh can wish him out of.

Could you please comment here more often, hardwick?
