NRSC Having Trouble Raising Cash From GOP Senators
In a further sign that the Senate Republicans face a severe lack of confidence in regaining control of the Senate, The Hill reports that many GOP Senators have given little or nothing from their campaign accounts over to the National Republican Senatorial Committee — with a total of eight GOP Senators having given absolutely nothing.
By contrast, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has had much greater luck collecting cash from its members — even Joe Lieberman kicked in $100,000 for the Senate Dems this past December.

If I were the dems, I would say thanks but no thanks to traitor joe and give him back his 100k. He could give it to the republicans. They obviously need it more.

This must be Lieberman's way of laundering some questionable money. Since he and McCain are joined at the hip (probably sucking up for the VP slot), he's not really interested in helping the Dems get more senators on board.

Take his money and throw it towards Ned Lamonts next campain against senor Leibermann. And if Leibermann wants the VP slot, let him have it maybe that way we can get rid of both of these guys come November! Having him on the ticket will only make me more determined to tell all within earshot that John McCain and his straight talk express is a lying and pandering fallacy of a campaign of rhetoric that lacks any intellectual honesty. That is not to say that I dislike John McCain but it just amazes me that the major media can not do one story asking John the question "where did the Maverick go?"

Maybe Joe, seeing the Dems picking up more Senate seats in '08, is trying to brownnose the Dems. For very new Senate seat the Dems pick up Joe loses influence, and the Sword of Damocles he holds over their heads becomes duller.
