CNN Poll: Obama And Hillary Both Roughly Tied Nationally Against McCain
The new CNN poll shows Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both in statistical dead heats against John McCain:
Obama (D) 47%, McCain (R) 46%
Clinton (D) 49%, McCain (R) 47%
From the internals: Hillary does better than Obama among older voters, women and core Democrats, while Obama does better at attracting younger voters and crossover Republicans and independents.

Nice spin, yesterday CNN poll had 52 Obama to 45 Clinton.
Now Hillary Clinton the leads all three candidates, TPM and CNN seem to ignore that in headlines.
Obama's in freefall, though the poll is within the margin of error, let's see how the empty suit looks next week. There aren't any more black voters for Obama to get. It's downhill only.

These polls have changed a lot. I remember when Hillary was going "kitchen sink" on Obama before Texas and Ohio, she led in the national polls.
The result? She netted a few delegates.
So, excuse me if I don't trust a Republican troll to tell me the "facts."

The polls these past few days showing a gaining Clinton (but only by a small margin, possibly within the margin of error) are interesting. Isn't she supposed to be a dead person walking? Isn't it all over for her? Doesn't everyone think that Obama has it all sewn up? Someone better tell the average American, because they seem to be moving towards Clinton, and she continues to attract demographics that elude him. If these polls continue for quite some time, and Clinton keeps the momentum going, Obama won't be able to avoid the conclusion that this race is going to end in a virtual tie. He should offer her the vice presidency, or promise to back her in another job she might want (Supreme Court or Senate Majority Leader). I say the odds of an Obama-Clinton ticket are rising from extremely long to remotely plausible.
