Oy! It's definitely too early here, but if he takes Maine, that's an Ominous sign for Hillary, indeed.

I think the results on that google mashup come from the "Turn Maine Blue" blog, which looks like there are a lot of Obama towns about to come in. Either that, or the Obama folks are more aggressive about reporting their wins to Turn Maine Blue.

On the map - Hillary in red, Obama in blue. Subliminal messaging? Also, the map doesn't look as close as the headline.

The map is, I believe, based on individuals reporting results, not official returns of delegate shares won.

If the early reports are right, HRC is barely holding on or even losing in some of her strong areas, while Obama is crushing in his.
Long way to go, but even keeping Maine close is a win for Obama.

Can you feel the excitement? Every day now, it seems like we're getting closer and closer to having the country's first woman VP.

CNN does report where their 11% is from, so it's hard to compare to the Turn Maine Blue results! Anyone know where the 11% comes from?

Fox News is now saying it is 57-42 with 41% reporting.
And Portland has yet to Caucus.
Could this be another double digit win for Obama in the works? If so, the Solis news combined with a loss in Maine could be devestating to Clinton momentum.
If Obama wins this by double digits and wins the Potomac Primaries Tuesday, expect a lot of Super Delegates to get on board.

My sister just left the Portland caucus site. Apparently things are crazy -- not enough room for people, at some point officials were giving people paper (absentee-esque) ballots and telling them they could fill them out and then leave. As my sister was walking out, some other officials were questioning whether the paper ballots could be valid.
As to the candidate balance, she said the place was swarming with Obama people, with very few Clinton people.

What Clinton momentum? She's never had momentum.
Sure she did. She was inevitibale practically from the moment she announced all the way up until Iowa, then from her comeback gal moment in New Hampshire all the way up until South Carolina.
I wouldn't want to be around her for the next few weeks is all I've got to say.

You know it really sucks that we have to get our information from fox entertainment. CNN is a joke and so is msnbc. That "close race" reported by cnn was over 1 hour ago. Is cnn trying to get the inside track on information from a potential 3rd term of the clintons?

Yes, isn't that awful? For all it bias, Fox Noise does do some things better than the others. They always scoop the others, and their production values are better--they make the others look several years old.

Everyone seems to be gung ho for Obama right now. November is a long way off. Be sure, Obama will not win the general election. You can paint him as a messiah all you want. He waffles, period. At least I know I voted for a true blue democrat in the primary.
