Hillary And Obama Answer The Super-Delegate Question
Compare and contrast. The CNN moderator asks about Nancy Pelosi's contention that the super-delegates should follow what the pledged delegates decide at the end of the contest.
Hillary ducks it:
Well you know these are the rules that are followed. I think that it’ll sort itself out. I’m not worried about that. We will have a nominee, and we will have a unified Democratic Party, and we will go on to victory in November.
Obama reiterates his position that the super-dels will have to follow the popular vote:
Well I think it is important, given how hard Sen. Clinton and I have been working, that these primaries and caucuses count for something. And so my belief is that the will of the voters, expressed in this long election process, is what ultimately will determine who our next nominee’s gonna be.

Thats a nice way of saying "I'm okay with superdelegates overriding Democracy", how cute.

Looks to me that HRC was playing for veep, pulling her punches and asking for unity.

Except when following the rules would disadvantage me, like, say, in Nevada or Michigan or Florida...then screw the rules.

"Looks to me that HRC was playing for veep, pulling her punches and asking for unity."
No Veep with those nasty attacks.
Seemed schizophrenic. She was attack dog, and then tried to be friendly at the end.
I know her camp was divided on whether to take the low road or high road. She did both. What a mess.
She performed poorly tonight. She needed a clear win. She didn't get it.

At the end, she was plagiarizing lines from her husband's 1992 campaign. It was a phony as phony gets.

Can you provide a link? I'd like to compare the two lines.

I just noticed something interesting in the recapping.
When I first heard Obama's typically understated slam at the notion that his supporters have been duped, I thought about the latest salvo in the "cult of personality" smear in Politico yesterday. When I saw it again, just now, however, it made me wonder if someone had been checking out hillaryis44.org today. In their lead post this morning, the Hillyloons were instructed to rent Elmer Gantry and the Music Man to get pointers on how flim-flam men like Obama operate. They were quite serious.
You can't make this stuff up, folks.

Formerly known, I actually think that explains a lot of things, if those people view the world through the prism of mid-century musical theater. Their worldview has about as much nuance. Hillary, I'm guessing, is Maria Von Trapp, and you know who was against Maria Von Trapp?
The Nazis.
