BREAKING: Sources Tell CNN Romney Is Suspending Campaign
CNN is reporting that three sources tell the network that Romney is hanging up his Mittens. He's suspending his campaign.
CNN also reports that Mitt had tentatively decided to quit last night but made the final decision this morning. Romney is about to address the CPAC conference, where he'll make it official.
Just think, all that money and technology spent on building the perfect GOP Robo-candidate -- all for naught.

Say it ain't so, Mitt.

All well, it had to happen sometime. I was hoping that he could hang on a few weeks more to poison the waters of Lake GOP a bit more thoroughly, but I confess that it will be fun to watch Rush Limbaugh sputter with rage over the next few days.
Huckabee or McCain...

True. But of course, past statements and facts have never stopped Rush before. I expect a pretty quick 180 over this weekend. Come Monday, Rush will be saying how he has decided to come over to McCain's side, because he is the best possible chance of maintaining power.
Bet on it.

One more thing. Way to put BO over the top in Missouri. Well done!

Oh no, my good sir, I tip my hat to you. MN had just as many delegates at stake as my own home, but you guys showed an even more impressive victory for our side. I was, of course, delighted to see that we won MO, but the crowd at the Obama victory party in St Louis cheered almost as loudly when MN's results came on the screen as we did when MO finally tipped our way. Well done indeed!

Does he throw his hat into the Senate race against Kerry?

If it's true, then Romney's vaunted business acumen played a big part. He decided that putting any more of his money in this venture wasn't going to have an acceptable return on investment, and the time had come to pull out and cut his losses. Oh well, now it's just a return home to UT MA, MI, NH, wherever it may be.

I never thought I would say this, but I want to listen to Rush Limbaugh today!?!?!?
Now the question for us is, "who can beat McCain?"
