Go McCain - you may be the only thing saving us from a Romney/Clinton match-up - two cynical, truth-bending/distorting politicans slugging it out for the grand championship - UGH.

Did any one see HRC interview about Lewinsky (youtube)?
A few comments:
- The HRC people planned this to get the issue out in the open. They had assumed that the press would focus on it.
- HRC answer: You have to be true to yourself. You have to hear yourself when things are hard.
Debate Moderator: Ask this question.
Mrs. Clinton, you have mentioned that in times of crisis, it is best for you to be true to yourself. When you voted for the war, were you true to yourself?

There is a last minute effort on the part of Giuliani supporters/bloggers to urge Romney and Thompson backers in SC to vote for Huckabee.
The fear is that if McCain wins in SC, the momentum would kill not only Giuliani's chances but all others as well.

Personally, if the race is close, with Huckabee right there, I expect him to overcome being a few points down in the polls. People have to remember that his supporters are largely the kinds of people who have been the conservative GOTV army for decades... so, while he doesn't have much money, his supporters generally know how to get the vote out. And it doesn't take much money to create a decent GOTV operation, especially when there are plenty of people willing to volunteer their time.
