Romney Wins! ... The Wyoming Caucus
Mitt Romney now has a victory under his belt after his previous loss in Iowa, winning today's Wyoming Republican caucus. With 12 delegates up for grabs, Romney has won 7, Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter took 1 each, and the rest are still undecided.
The Wyoming GOP chose to hold their caucuses ahead of New Hampshire, potentially endangering the integrity of the primary calendar by stepping on NH's turf. However, the caucus itself did not attract huge headlines, and only Romney, Thompson, Hunter and Ron Paul even campaigned there — Mike Huckabee, John McCain and Rudy Giuliani never even showed up.
It remains to be seen whether Romney's big win in the land of Cheney will be noticed and help him get momentum with GOP voters, but it certainly couldn't hurt.

Ron Paul won 10% in Iowa and is about to sweep in NH. Ron Paul recieves no media support and no money from major contributors. Romney is having to fund his own campaign and has no real ideas or solutions to pending crisis' facing the US. I beg all my countrymen and women for the sake of our freedom and our nation to research more on Ron Paul. Read his speaches, watch the interview from yesterday on NBC with Bill Moyer on youtube. Ron Paul has ideas that threaten the military industrial complex. This is why FOX news is banning him from the debate. How come none of these other candidates are speaking out against this censorship? If Romney and Huckabee are so good, why then do they sit by and say nothing about FOX ignoring Ron Paul? Real presidential material would voice concern and stand up to FOX. Shame on you Romney. You are nothing but a slick car salesman.

Hahahaha. Yeah, Ron Paul is going to sweep New Hampshire. Right.
You loons insisted that all of the polls going into the Iowa caucus were wrong and that Paul would really do well. It turns out that the polls were right, yet the Ron Paul Revolution is still too deluded to come to grips with reality. At least Nader supporters acknowledged that their candidate had no chance of winning.
There's no ZOG conspiracy covering up massive support for Paul. Most people on both ends of the political spectrum realize that he's a nut case and he will *never* be president. Whether it's his thinly veiled racism, his support for US government backing of the genocide in Darfur, his insane gold standard, or his outright opposition to enforcement of the First Amendment, our nation is better off without him having any more power than his marginalized position in Congress currently grants him.

Ron Paul doesn't want any power. He just wants to give it back to the people. How sad that some people are soooo disillusioned that they believe ANY of the CFR back candidates are going to do this country any good at all. We are all in for a very rude awakening. It's already happening for many who are losing their jobs, their homes and even their children to the insanity that has become our Federal Government.

How about donating to Ron Paul's campaign? Helps him be a viable candidate and in the GOP's face. Exposes more of the GOP lies -- they claim to want a smaller govt (which also means a smaller military, as the military is a big part of the govt), want freedom for individuals etc, which is what Ron Paul seems to represent, but by trying to squelch Ron Paul's candidacy, they demonstrate that they really don't care about the ideals they tout. Of course, we already know that, but it helps for some of their own kind, the Ron Paul republicans, to experience that themselves.

Ryan, you are a typical Ron Paul Supporter. That is one of the main reasons Ron Paul is doing so poorly.
Gretchen, you can thank George W Bush for your various complaints. I wouldn't doubt that you voted for him, both times. The Council on Foreign Relations is not the Boogieman. Read a little more than the Ron Paul propaganda pertaining to the CFR and you might become a bit more conversant.

I have been well aware of what the CFR is and the several other "think tanks" that have had a negative impact on our domestic and foreign policies. I did not need Dr. Paul to tell me that and any person with any sense can figure it out. They are not boogiemen they are an organization bent on dangerous ideologies that threaten the world, U.S independence and further the grip of private banks, old money, and a needless push toward empire building. I find their contributions to the world disturbing and is just one of many groups bent and destroying our once great nation.

Man, I have to admit to getting a little annoyed when fellow Ron Paul fans get crude and offensive in their support of the good doctor.
Personally, quite a bit of Dr. Paul's opinions resonate well with me. I don't believe him to be a racist (a potential VP candidate would be Walter Williams), and I admire his consistent application of the Constitution to so many of his positions. Who else among the candidates would say that various media excluding him is frustrating, but perfectly within their rights as companies to make those decisions?
The other candidates, on both sides, even those promising "real change", are simply the same old variants of standard politicians. Dr. Paul, to me, stands apart. His "change" would be "back to (Constitutional) basics" and I'm willing to give that a try.

racism? wow really. No proof of that, I do have proof Michelle Obama is a racist when she said she was not sure if she wanted to date a man with white in him. Ron Paul supports a U.S backed genocide of darfur?? last I checked Ron Paul said this is exactly what happens when the US foreign policy interferes in the word. Same as Bhutto being killed, same with Iraq, Same with the Afhan Mujahadeen in the 80's, same with our South and Central American policies... you should really look into them. It is a scary and disturbing eye opener into what the CIA and US foreign policy does and what the results are of our actions and manipulations. How is Paul against the 1st amendment? that is a first. You mean how he mentions things about our economy and the world and how he gets banned from debates after meeting their criteria... yep totally against the 1st amendment. Unfortunately power has been focused in the executive branch via executive orders and an expansion of power that threatens the checks and balances in the U.S. Also not just a gold standard.. anything of value to back our currency that you can also barter and trade with besides a bill of credit which the Dollar has become which strictly unconstitutional. One of the problems we face across the board stems from the fact our dollar has no value, the fed reserve is a sham, and our economy is being run off bank loans from Saudi Arabia and China to continue to prop up our failed foreign policy of nation building. I am sorry if reality is affecting your outlook created by the media and perpetuated lies brought forth by the democrats and republicans.. this neat little world of smoke and mirrors will not last long and reality is staring us all in the face. This chicken has come to roost.

Paul is marginally less insane than Tancredo.
Romney is a lying sack of shit.
Huckleberry is a huckster and a pseudo-pious purveyor of vane aspirations.
Guiliani is Romney devoid of looks and raging about is lack of market-share by threatening to kill everybody and cajoling everyone else to hide under their beds.
Thompson is useless.
McCain sold his integrity for the better part of the last decade and acts as if a little positive attention from Lieberman is a handjob from the godess of all of our choices.

Paul opposes the 1964 Civil Rights Act: http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul188.html
Darfur:
Paul voted to not divest funds from companies doing business with a genocidal regime: http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.R.180:
If you think this has anything to do with armed intervention, you either haven't read the bill or are an idiot. It's the government deciding how to spend its own damn money. That's the very definition of a free market solution to a problem. Not spending money is the opposite of foreign intervention.
First Amendment:
Read his "We the People Act": http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c110:H.R.300:
That would prevent enforcement of the first amendment, effectively allowing states like Texas to bar non-Christians from holding political office (read the Texas constitution if you don't believe me). For someone who claims to care about the constitution, Paul seems to have missed the Fourteenth Amendment.
That doesn't even address the issue of what a hypocrite Paul is for claiming to endorse a states' rights view of abortion while voting for a federal ban on one of the safest means of late term abortions: http://www.10news.com/politics/13360436/detail.html
Paul is a fair weather federalist and a fair weather constitutionalist. For someone who goes on about lies, smoke, and mirrors, you seem to be highly misinformed about what Paul stands for.
