McCain Wins New Hampshire Primary
John McCain is projected to win the New Hampshire primary, according to MSNBC, ABC and Fox News.
It's hard to overstate how devastating a blow this is to Mitt Romney's candidacy. Recall that his whole game plan was to win both Iowa and New Hampshire, victories which would propel him all the way to the nomination. And indeed Romney's campaign had managed to convince the political press that he was pulling off a late surge in New Hampshire.
But he lost. After sinking huge sums into both the key early states -- both of which were key to his strategy -- he lost the two of them. Unclear where Mitt goes from here.
Prediction: With Rudy and Romney slowly disappearing, McCain will re-emerge as the establishment GOP candidate soon. Stay tuned.

how does that work?

It should be noted that the same folk that counted McCain's already declared win have Clinton ahead . . .as we speak.

Greg, that's silly. Romney came in second in both Iowa and NH. Romney can easily make the case that they're not representative of the entire country, but that he has strong support in both states, unlike McCain and Huckabee.
Romney isn't going anywhere till Super Tuesday.
I think Giuliani & Thompson really are disappearing, however. That will leave Romney and McCain battling it out over the anti-Huckabee establishment vote.

They "tell" Americans how to vote by letting "uneducated" voters know who because we are "wonderful Americans" but because we won't get out of their countries!) is on top so they can vote for one of the "top candidates." It's a devastating day for Americans, when Fox can out right lie (google Jay Leno & Ron Paul from 1-7-08) and yet they are still considered worthy to "project results." We, as Americans, need to WAKE UP. We can complain about our "current political dictator" as long as we want, but if we vote for the majority of political candidates (Giuli, Hucka, Clint, Edwar, McCai... etc etc etc) then we are basically putting the same basic prototype into power again and again and again. If Americans want change, REAL change, then they need to GOOGLE RON PAUL and listen to the honesty, intellect and leadership that this man can bring to America. Will it be easy? Of course not. But how easy is it to continue to drive ourselves into debt, into hate by other countries (notand into eventual destruction. Look at past history... those who thought they were grand... ALWAYS fell...
