Gallup: Huckabee Leads National GOP Race
The new Gallup poll shows that Mike Huckabee is enjoying his post-Iowa bounce, now taking the lead among Republicans nationwide. Here are the numbers, compared to the last poll in mid-December:
Huckabee 25% (+9)
Giuliani 20% (-7)
McCain 19% (+5)
Thompson 12% (-2)
Romney 9% (-5)

The fake question and answer part of this page takes a very humorous swipe at Huckabee. Scroll down till you see a picture of Wayne Dumond in and orange jump suit.

Im sure the GOP is happy with the prospect of a creationist baptist minister with a dog torturing son as their leader.
I know I like the possibility.

Where are new SC and FL polls?! I'm guessing Huckabee now leads in both states. I can't believe the pollsters haven't put out any new polls since Iowa in either of those two states. That would be more interesting than the past 12 months of pointless polls in either state showing Giuliani leading FL and a close race in SC.

Underestimate Huckabee at your peril. The GOP money guys are scared not because they don't think he can win -- they're scared because they fear he CAN. They don't like his talk about compassion for the poor; they knew it was a crock of shit with Bush, but I think they are afraid that Huckabee might mean it.
Not that Huckabee is any more likely to turn compassion in to action. His whacko Flat Tax scheme should take care of that.

Any one ever seen a picture of the Huckabee family. Add some to the deficit
for renovations cause these good ol boys are gonna need a little more room in the white house.
Ever wonder why he is not pictured with his whole family?

litigatormom,
While my personal view of Huckleberry is that of a joke . . . It is the same sorta joke that brought us the Reagan 80's.
Huckabee and his false piety is to be feared. He is the sort of fellow who shows his neighborly love by slicing off body parts and packing them in the freezer for a snack later . . .

What they fear is Huckabee's credulousness. He's read one book -- what if he reads another??

Let it be Huckabee..

I want Jesus to drown them (in a baptismal sense) in their own bathtub.

The insulting attacks on a man's children and attacks on Christians is wrong. Instead of attacks on Christian beliefs, I urge you to read the Bible and hear the good news of Jesus Christ. The good news, (gospel) is the most wonderful news I ever heard.

voter
and after you finish that book
I suggest the night before christmas
and easter bunny stories.
Get an intellect and deal with your
life crises in a positive way instead of attacking muslims and their families.
Your really not mush of a reader are you, tell the truth, put your hand on the bible.
Was it divorce,a breakup,midlife crises,drugs.
deal with it
In short, grow up.
