I am a Democrat from Michigan and just voted for Romney. I like Kos' advice and hope the Republicans keep slugging it out.I have had no luck finding like minded Dems though.

Nice work, Chuck. We are thankful!

I am from Michigan and usually vote dems, but me and my wife also just did as Chuck did. There are other like minded Michiganders out there, Chuck!

Chalk up two more Michigan Democrats for Romney this morning.

The Dems are resorting to sabotage in order to stop John McCain? Sounds like desperation to me . . .

That should take the wind out of bloviated McCain's sails.

As a Michigander Dem., I'm voting for the candidate I believe in, "Uncommitted."

That's because too many Democrats would rather fight "clean" than win. It's probably just as well that a large majority of our military is Republican. I'd rather our boys fight dirty and come home in one piece than fight clean and buy the farm.

If that sounds like a troll, sorry about that. I'm just as disgusted as you about the fact that so many Democrats would rather fight "fair" than win.

Yup. It's only desperation when Democrats do it, right Steve? It's inspired game play when Republicans do it.

ya gotta punch rethuglicans in the head once or twice for them to see your serious. It's the game they have played all along. Then they run scared like the bully's they are.

Ever notice Chip Saltsman, Huckabee's campaign manager look just like Quagmire on family guy?(Alll R wrote on January 15, 2008 3:26 PM:

I'm a Michigan Dem and will also vote for Romney. He must win here to keep going. He is the only one who ran attack ads against the other Repubs. A win here will just add to the Repub mess.

For those who don't know: Michigan Repubs have done it to us in the past with our governor's race (voted for Geoff Fieger).

We paid our Repub governor (Engler) back in 2000 when he said Michigan was a firewall for Bush and we all crossed over and gave McCain a win here. We took great delight in sticking it to Engler.

I woulda preferred DEM votes to go to Kuncinich or UncomMITTed to help stop the JOEmentum of Clinton's Corporate-sponsored Campaign.

I just voted for Romney at my precinct in Ann Arbor. I don't know how pertinent this is, but in my precinct (which I assume probably goes pretty heavily Democratic, normally--this is a place full of people who consider themselves at least liberal) it was about 2/3 Dem, 1/3 Rep.
I am, in truth, "uncommitted" as far as the Democratic ballot went, but also unwilling to have the spin on that vote be even more fanciful.
Besides, I like the idea of the Republicans continuing their circular firing squad.
