CNN Poll: McCain Still Ahead In New Hampshire

Today's CNN/University of New Hampshire poll doesn't show much movement at the top of Republican race since yesterday, with John McCain still in the lead. In the lower tier, Mike Huckabee has taken the third-place slot away from Rudy Giuliani, who is in danger of slipping behind Ron Paul just as he did in Iowa.

Here are the numbers, compared to yesterday:

McCain 32% (-1)
Romney 26% (-1)
Huckabee 14% (+3)
Giuliani 11% (-3)
Paul 10% (+1)

Why ANY Republican, Independent or Democrat would bother to vote for a REPEAT of George W. Bush - is beyond comprehension.

John McCain has the same exact views and makes the same promices that Bush has been making.

If Republicans want a CHANCE (not saying they will) of winning in Nov, they'd best consider Romney or Huckabee. They at least admit to some failures of the Bush admin.

I'm amazed that other candidates have spent the millions that they have, and that Ron Paul is consistent with 10% of the vote (and I think larger in NH) and that the GOP has no plan whatsoever how to convert these voters.

I'm thinking that these supporters will probably vote now that they are registered....

Rudy is still discussed as if he is relevant, and Paul as if he was not, nothing could be further from the truth.

Something for your amusement…

A 2008 Presidential Candidates Net Worth Graph in which the candidates are sized relative to their net worth…

You might be surprised at just how large Romney is.

Don’t forget to read my rant below the pic and links.

Isn't McCain a 'head' in anyplace he is . . . Opps! That's not the correct piece of physiology . . . Sorry.

Coonsey,

McCain sold his integrity. Romney is a lying sack of shit. Huckleberry hides smoudlering evil under false piety.

I'm afraid candidate Giuliani is being renounced more and more each day. His campaign advisers now take comfort in that old saw: Any publicity is better than no publicity.

To the people who care about me and my soul: I apologize for supporting him so staunchly, but I was taught to be a team player and a good soldier. I assure you that I never lost the ability to separate truth from fiction, reality from illusion.

Don't worry about me. Rudy Partners has already rewarded me richly -- and will continue to do so. As to my soul: Alan Placa (Rudy's de-frocked boyhood friend)has become my closest spiritual healer and counselor in this time of confession and contrition. I've been reading books by Charles Colson and G. Gordon Libby. I'll get through this.

In the spirit of the resurrection, thank you.
