Dems To Debate Days Before Super Tuesday
The Democratic field will almost certainly be winnowed to one or two serious candidates and a couple hangers-on before Super Tuesday — and the viewing public will have a chance to see those candidates face off on January 31, five days before the February 5 national primary, in a newly-announced debate.
The debate will be broadcast on CNN, hosted by them plus the Politico, the Los Angeles Times, and the California Democratic Party.

hopefully the field will not be winnowed down to ONE serious candidate. make for a solipsistic sort of debate.

Are all the questions for this debate going to be framed from the Republican Talking Points/Clinton campaign point of view like the last debate? Is Clinton going to be allowed to pack the audience like the last debate? Is the applause and boo cards primed to support Clinton?
I want real questions on the issues this time . . . Like where the hell were the Senators while the Mukasey vote was going down? Why is universal healthcare bad? Why is the PATRIOT Acts and the Military Comissions Act still on the books? What are you going to do about Republican Caging Operations and electronic voting machines? Why is taking corporate good? Why is shinking media ownership good? Have you ever read the Sherman Anti-Trust acts?

According to Ben Smith at the Politico, Wolf Blitzer will be moderating this debate, as well. Isn't there someone more qualified?

Eric needs to think outside the Bushville box for once.
As Hillary melts, it is time to consider the very real possibility that nothing will be decided after Iowa or NH or even SuperDuper Tuesday, February 5

I'm seriously disappointed that they are doing this on CNN after the last two debates we got from them. Why can't PBS bring us this show?
