Top New Hampshire Story: Firefighters Group Bashing Rudy
Here's today's key story out of the New Hampshire local press: The Concord Monitor reports that a group called 9/11 Firefighters and Families traveled to the state yesterday to spread their message about Rudy Giuliani: That he's not the great leader he says he is.
Jim Riches, deputy chief of the New York City Fire Department and father of a firefighters who died that day, said: "And to see this man turn around now and say he did a great job preparing us and having leadership that day? It was lacking, and there was none ... Now he's trying to parlay it into the presidency of the United States ... He did nothing, and it doesn't qualify him to be president of the United States."

I believe Riches was on Countdown last night. He was angry. I say, more power to him, and his group.

If the firefighters don't like Rudy, they should save their ammunitions for the general election unless they are republicans themselves. They would be much more effective in the general election than in the primary in trying to swing the wingnuts, whose brains are built differently, according to building scientific evidence.

Ni Daye: I'd disagree with you on this (saving it for the general rather than the primary) only because it's better to neutralize Rudy early. At present, he puts blue states like CT and NJ in play against rival Dems. Other Repubs don't do that as much.

Rudy Guliani was too busy before 9-11 protecting the interests of Kerik who is now under federal indictment. He knew about his mafia connections and kickbacks.
He was protecting his friend - a pedophile preist.
He got kickbacks from the company that made defective radios that firemen had to use.
He was seeing another women while married.
No wonder he did not protect Americans before 9-11.
