I wish I could easily dismiss the Thompson campaign, but I think that would be underestimating to political power of the republicans in the deep-south.

The only candidate they have in the race is Thompson. If his candidacy is still alive when they go to vote, they could put him atop the race.

There are many well intended citizens who didn’t know what they were voting for, so they elected him again, just to make sure.... All of a sudden, can’t find anyone who will admit they voted for Bush.... FOX DIN: Thompson is not the right stuff. Fox and stink-tank sectateurs
