Rudy's Company Profited Off Country That Shielded Terror Mastermind

Wow, this really should put a dent in Rudy Giuliani's Mr. 9/11 image. Wayne Barrett, a biographer and vocal critic of Rudy, has a new article outlining Rudy's business relationship with Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah al-Thani, a Qataran emir whose finances helped found Al-Jazeera — and who has been accused of sheltering none other than Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in the 1990's:

The contradictory and stunning reality is that Giuliani Partners, the consulting company that has made Giuliani rich, feasts at the Qatar trough, doing business with the ministry run by the very member of the royal family identified in news and government reports as having concealed KSM—the terrorist mastermind who wired funds from Qatar to his nephew Ramzi Yousef prior to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center, and who also sold the idea of a plane attack on the towers to Osama bin Laden—on his Qatar farm in the mid-1990s.

It'll be interesting to see if the national press picks up on this story. You can read the rest here.

Under Guliani murder rates in New York went up by over 3000 in 2001 alone while he was mayor. You call that protecting America?
Rudy Guliani was too busy before 9-11 protecting the interests of Bernie Kerik who is now under federal indictment.
He knew about his mafia connections and kickbacks.
He was protecting his friend - a pedophile preist.
He got kickbacks from the company that made defective radios that firemen had to use.
He was seeing another women while married.
No wonder Guliani did not protect Americans before 9-11.

Rough day for Rudy, poor boy. This is a real nice piece on top of the Politico story about Mr. 9/11 billing thousands of dollars to obscure New York City agencies like the New York City Loft Board to cover "security" expenses for weekend jaunts out to Southampton where his paramour Judy Nathan lived.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the MSM to pay any attention to these stories. As I have said before, it continues to amaze me that the MSM refuses to address the fact that the real story about this clown, including that the reason he was wandering around downtown Manhattan that day was that he had no place to go -- because he put the City's emergency control center in the WTC.

This failure by the MSM is in the same league as its refusal to challenge his claims of experience in managing foreign policy issues. The truth of the matter is that his real foreign policy experience comes from his time at Giuliani Partners which represents the government of Qatar as well as an oil company controlled by President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela. Giuliani Partners also prepared him for dealing with health care issues by allowing him to learn about these things while representing the maker of OxyContin. (t is amazing how these details of Rudy's "experience" just don't warrant the attention of the MSM outside of the Times, where they understand exactly what he is from his time as Mayor.

Why is that whenever I think I'm getting over these so called 'conspiracy theories' something like this comes out?

Of course the MSM won't pick it up. Everybody knows that Rudy is a moderate and that he is, in fact, already the de facto president-elect by virtue of his heroism in giving press conferences after 9/11. Besides, IOIYR.

That is Guiliani spelled W-H-O-R-E, correct?

Does this mean that Rude-ee will prance up a path at Camp David holding holding his hand on the TV News? Is this the real Bush legacy?

That debate should seal the fate of the goopers. They look like a dangerous fringe group. The independents running away caused seismic tremors across the country.
No small irony that the one that came across as most presidential was a hillbilly creationist.

The only way the MSM will pick up on this is if a lot of people pressure them to do so. So get started emailing, media outlets, folks!
