Rudy: I'm Now "Even More Certain" That The Iraq Invasion Was The Right Thing
Rudy Giuliani is leaving no ambiguity about his feelings on Iraq. In an interview with the New Hampshire Union Leader, Rudy said not only that he "never had any doubt" that he would have carried out the 2003 invasion if he had been president, but he is now "even more certain" that it was the right thing for America's security.
Rudy then kicked it up yet another notch: "I actually believe that Democrats are going to agree with me on that by the time we get to the general election."

Bill in Chicago wrote on November 27, 2007 10:59 AM:This should be money in the bank for the Democrats, if they could only get their act together and explain to the American people that we invaded the wrong stinkin' country, period.
And it's not just that there was no relationship between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda, no connection to 9/11, and no stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction in the first place. It's that there is a whole mountain of evidence out there implicating the Saudis, over and over again:

The Democrats should be shining a light on that to drive the point home - Iraq was the wrong country, and the Bush adminsitration has let those truly responsible for 9/11 get away with it scot-free.
And Giuliani is particularly pathetic on this point. Just check out Page 373-74 of his autobiography Leadership, which you can read (for free) here:

He describes in excruciating detail how he observed Prince Whalid and his entire Saudi entourage smirking at the sight of Ground Zero. If this story is true, then how could he fail to realize where the true threat is coming from?

What many of the Democrats (and the Nation for that matter seems to forget) is NOT whether or not we can kick the butts of a Third World Country (e.g., Iraq), ... but rather SHOULD WE HAVE!
That's why I have always said that IMPEACHMENT should NEVER have been taken off the table, ... because impeachment would not just serve as a method to apply justice, but instead, it would highlight the huge mistakes this administration has made, including the lead up to War.
Democrats need to get back to these original talking points because it is possible that Iraq is stabilizing, and if it does, the Republicans are going to try to say "I told you so."
(Inspite of a trillion dollars later, 4,000 soldiers dead, etc.)

Rudy Guliani was too busy before 9-11 hiding the interests of Bernie Kerik who is now under federal indictment. He knew about his mafia connections and kickbacks.
He was protecting his friend - a pedophile preist.
He got kickbacks from the company that made defective radios that firemen had to use.
He was seeing another women while married.
No wonder he did not protect Americans before 9-11.
And murder rates went up by over 3000 in 2001 alone while Guliani was the mayor of new york.
Rudy's record rights is-(BEYOND) terrible.
To all would be voters, please keep in mind
all the acts of violence put upon the the minority groups of NY, while he was mayor.
HE DID NOTHING, to change or curb such destructive and aggressive behavior by NY-(so called) finest.
He didn't save NY, he was @ the right place @ the right time and did his job.....
like he was supposed to. As for the war, RUDY if you're so for it, send your closest associates over to fight it. When your passionate about something, you should be willing to get on the front line-(yourself) and fight to the death, not hide behind the disenfranchised and mislead to fight for you.
