Richardson Moving Staff Out Of South Carolina, Into Iowa
Bill Richardson's campaign has announced that they're moving a lot of senior staff out of South Carolina and into Iowa — even including the South Carolina state director.
This comes on the heels of news yesterday that the Richardson camp is also relocating personnel from Nevada into Iowa.

Now we know where the Clinton campaign is getting the additional staffers they were hiring.

Richardson gave a crap-weasel, Clintonian-like answer regarding answer regarding the impeachment of VP Chee-nee on the Ed Schultz radio show this afternoon. He does not deserve even last row bleacher seating at HRC's coronation.

This is a pretty good sign he's running out of money, and will drop out if he doesn't place at least 4th in Iowa.

Richardson is not out of the race. Up until a couple weeks before Iowa, Kerry was a distant third in the Iowa polls and Edwards even lower, but with late surges they both managed to pass Dean and Gephardt. So, from his current position Richardson is still capable of not only finishing fourth in Iowa, but actually passing one or more of the current top three. And if he finishes in the top three or higher in Iowa, who knows what he could do?

Richardson's beefing up in Iowa to take votes and airtime away from Obama and Edwards and so benefit the Clintons. He's fulfilling the same role Gephardt played in 2004.

DL,
At this stage Gephardt was one of the two frontrunners in Iowa. Moreover, Gephardt ended up hurting the other top person in the polls, namely Dean.
So I think Richardson is more trying to follow the Kerry/Edwards path in Iowa, hoping that Clinton, Obama, and Edwards will all drag each other down and let him move up.

DTM, who boomerangs from third in Iowa into contention?
Richardson doesn't have enough money to fund a post-Iowa battle. He can't get on the airwaves. If he finishes below Clinton, he's done.
