Poll: Romney Has Almost Two-To-One Lead On Rudy In New Hampshire
A new Rasmussen poll shows that Mitt Romney continues to have a healthy lead in New Hampshire:
Romney 32%
Giuliani 17%
McCain 16%
Huckabee 10%

Paul 4%

A new Zogby poll of Iowa also has him crushing the field there.

go Romney! Guiliani's general election margins are too close for comfort.

A McCain comeback in NH might stymie any Huckabee momentum coming out of Iowa.
I find it hard to see anyone else catching Romney if he wins Iowa AND New Hampshire, esp. not Giuliani, who may not perform well at all in either state.

So much for Ron Paul's momentum and hopes of winning New Hampshire.

Democrats who are rooting for Romney to do well in the primaries because he seems like a sure loser in the general election ought to be careful what they wish for. His national number are low now, but if he wins Iowa, and NH, and keeps the momentum going, his national numbers will go way up and that puts him a very small step away from becoming president and that scares me alot more than a president Rudy. Seems like a big gamble to put Mitt so close the white house and just assume it could never be his.
