New McCain Ad Goes After Hillary Clinton And Woodstock Again
John McCain has a new ad in New Hampshire, entitled "Outrageous," denouncing wasteful spending in Washington. And he's still going after Hillary Clinton for the Woodstock Museum earmark:
"A million dollars for a Woodstock Museum — in a bill sponsored by Hillary Clinton," the narrator says, over stock footage of some dirty hippies. "Predictable."

All those "dirty hippies" probably have blogs too!

These ads have been significantly hurting Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, and partly explain her decline.

A true testament to clinton II's crowning legislative achievement, in addition to the blank checks to the king on Iraq and Iran.

It's a lie but I bet that wouldn’t matter to you anyway. Ignorance maybe bliss but it's no way to go through life.

Ignorance is bliss... that explains why so many neo-kkkon-servatives are so happy while their sky is falling. Keep bleating for Bush. It makes your long dark days more interesting and you shame yourselves double.

Problem is: Locals have requested funding for a Woodstock Museum to divert traffic from visitors who interrupt their lives to "see Woodstock," and to provide funds for the people who would build it and work there.
Imagine if a President actually paid attention to what the people in a community wanted!
P.S. I think that Hillary has withdrawn full support for the project, and that the locals have announced they will fund it themselves, thanks to a local zillionaire.

Can't stand McCain (who's going nowhere) and Hillary.
So serve up the popcorn.

hadenough, you must have mistaken me for an ignorant hillary-lover. Wrong. From my bead on things only hillary-lovers are ignorant. Anybody but clinton II in 08.

OK, Uncle!
The reappearance of this ad reminds me that I JUST DON'T GET the attempt to paint Hillary as the face of the 1960s -- whether it's coming from McCain or from Obama and Andrew Sullivan.
Hillary troubles me for a number of reasons, but hippy-ness just ain't one of them. Sex, drugs, rock-n-roll and peace activism? Can't see it. I'd find it slightly plausible as an attack on Bill, but it doesn't seem to fit Hillary.
Can someone more in tune with the cultural zeitgeist please explain?

wes2,
The GOP media line is that anyone not a totally subservient tool of GWB is a dirty f*cking hippie. Facts be damned. And this ad shows the desperation of a broke and sinking old man, and total Bush tool, named McCain.
