New Hampshire Senator Headlines New Romney Radio Ad

Mitt Romney has a new radio ad in New Hampshire featuring his most prominent endorser in the state: Three-term U.S. Senator Judd Gregg.

"As President, Mitt will bring that 'can-do, get-it-done, let's-solve-the-problem' optimism America needs today," Gregg says in the ad. "Mitt Romney embodies New Hampshire's values-the values you and I want in a leader."

The ad is available after the jump.

A new poll from Nevada has things pretty much as tight as they could be in the general election, as 6 of the 12 match-ups are within a point. And Giuliani's lead looks particularly weak in the primary, as Romney is close behind. Link.

nice slick ad.

He still won't beat Dr. Paul though.

Romeny would have to outspend Paul 10 to 1 to defeat Paul. That's not going to happen.

Once again TPM and Election Central through up a smoke screen to help protect Hillary Clinton. By spamming a series of trival Republican reports, EC ignores the major election news of the day including reports on Hillary's manipulation of the press, refusal to answer reporter questions, and insulation from real people and their questions. If Hillary takes real questions unscripted she fumbles (as in the Philadelphia debate when asked about immigration in New York State). Instead of being honest, she successfully intemidates the next debate moderator to be sure she gets softbals (CNN, Blizter, Las Vegas, diamonds or pearls?).

The other major story being ignored is the shareholder shareholder lawsuit against InfoUSA Inc. which alleges that its founder Vin Gupta, a MAJOR benefactor of BOTH Clintons, used corporate resources improperly and perhaps illegally to give MILLIONS in benefits to Bill and Hillary. Once again, doe-eyed Hillary is surprised by the alleged corruption of her benefactor.

When Election Central tries to distract its readers from important information affecting the Democratic primary because it could be damaging to Hillary, EC is damaging its own credibility.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, that EC is a cheering section for Sen. Clinton.

Where else did you read in the comments that this is the kind civil rights the good senator - and Rick Santorum - faveored:

>>If WRFA had been law, the following rejected religious accommodation claims could have been decided differently:

* police officer's request to refuse to protect an abortion clinic,
* another police officer's request to abstain from arresting protestors blocking a clinic entrance,
* social worker's decision to use Bible readings, prayer, and the ""casting out of demons"" with inmates in a county prison, instead of providing the county's required secular mental health counseling,
* state-employed visiting nurse's decision to tell an AIDS patient and his partner that God ""doesn't like the homosexual lifestyle"" and that they needed to pray for salvation,
* delivery room nurse's refusal to scrub for an emergency inducement of labor and an emergency caesarian section delivery on women who were in danger of bleeding to death,
* two different male truck drivers and a male emergency medical technician request to avoid overnight work shifts with women because they could not sleep in the same quarters with women,
* employee assistance counselor's request to refuse to counsel unmarried or gay or lesbian employees on relationship issues,
* hotel worker's decision to spray a swastika on a mirror as a religious ""good luck"" symbol,
* private sector employee's request to uncover and display a KKK tattoo of a hooded figure standing in front of a burning cross,
* state-employed sign language interpreter's request to proselytize and pray aloud for her assigned deaf mental health patients, and
* retail employee's request to begin most statements on the job with ""In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.""

These examples were all actual cases brought into federal courthttp://www.aclu.org/religion/frb/16224leg20040602.html

Talking Points provides a very valuable service as I see it. No one will agree with everything they choose to write about.

I can say the same for Hillary Clinton's campaign website. But at least that site does not claim to be something it is not. As the primary election heats up, EC bias become ever more troubling. They will be quick to tell you, Hillary's campaign doesn't like everything they write. The trouble, of course, is that they communicate so frquently with Hillary's folks, are intemediated by them, and begin to reflect the Hillary spin. "Let's don't make Hillary mean agresssive campaign operatives mad at us."

Obama was not in the Senate for this vote. Given his vote to involve the Federal government in the Schiavo case, why do you
he would have voted differently?

I assume that Dood voted against this.

You’re obviously a very angry and bitter person and I feel, sort of, sorry for you. However, if you don’t have anything else to write but pure mud slinging or advertising self concocted conspiracy theories, let’s keep it to yourself in the future, okay?
