New Fletcher Ad Talks Ten Commandments, School Prayer And Values
Governor Ernie Fletcher (R-KY), who is headed towards a landslide defeat this Tuesday according to all the opinion polls, has a new ad about in which he is pitched as the champion of school prayer, the Ten Commandments, and Kentucky's traditional values:
"Choose life. Choose values," the announcer says. "Choose Ernie Fletcher — it's how we preserve our Kentucky home."

The crack-up about these people and the 10 commandments is they clearly don't obey the 10 Commandments. "God" quite obviously tells them he wants them to worship him on the seventh day, which if one looks on a calendar, is Saturday -- and always has been (for sure since Jesus's time).
So "God" commands them to do something and they don't; but it is the rest of us are going to "hell"?????
Religious Fanatics are a bunch of hypocritical phonies. They're more afraid of death and "going to heaven" than I am.
And I'm a friggin' atheist.

A campaign like this one in Kentucky where the outcome is a foregone conclusion is like a laboratory for political consultants where they can test gonzo political ads.
