McCain On Robertson's Endorsement Of Rudy: "I Am Left Speechless"
During his press conference today with Sam Brownback, John McCain was asked what his thoughts were on Pat Robertson's endorsement of Rudy Giuliani.
"Every once in a while, I am left speechless," McCain said. "This is one of those times."
McCain later told the New York Times that he had never even tried to court Robertson — and he's surprised that such a staunch pro-lifer would go for Rudy.
"Pat Robertson has never had many flattering things to say to me," he said. "So I didn't think that I would ever be considered, but I must say I am a little surprised because of his pro-life record. I don't know him very well, I have never met him. I have never encountered him in my life."

Apparently, Gallup has McCain moving up to second place and Pollster shows McCain trending positive for the first time all year. With McCain out of the spotlight for so long, people will be able to forgive (or forget) his past indiscretions.
I still stick by my McCain or Huckabee vs Hillary or Richardson prediction, though I'm starting to keep my eye on Biden.

Today's endorsements dramatically hurt the Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney campaigns... and Pat Robertson's support for Rudy is not so surprising considering Robertson's obsession with "Islamico-fascists."

Funny, it seems to me to be the opposite, that the endorsement hurt Rudy and helped everyone else as they shouldn't want or need the endorsement of that raving senile lunatic known as Uncle Chuckles Pat Robertson.
I think Rudy just lost 5% in the general election if he get the nomination (which he hopefully won't) by this endorsement.

I'm drooling at the thought of Rudy getting the Repug nomination. Every day that goes by, every insane utterance, every kook endorsement makes me just delirious. Bring it on, crazy man...

Why would you want an unstable meglomaniac to get that close to the White housee? I want both parties to select their best candidate.

Robertson will endorse Larry Craig if it benefits the religious right.

McCain to me got the better of the endorsements. Brownback is not a nut like RObertson. Keep in mind Robertson agreed with Falwell's view that the gays and abortionists were the reason for 9/11. How does Gulinai who is running on what he did not do to stop 9/11 (haha) square that with the endorsement.
Gulinai and Romney have had to change who they were to run for President, McCain has always been in a true conservative.
McCain is the best candidate to win on the REpublican side, because he can draw the independents and moderate dems like myself.

So if you want to endorse Larry Craig how many toe taps is that?

Mr Lopez,
How can you call yourself a Democrat, "moderate" - self described; and write you will vote for John McCain if he is the nominee of the Republican party?
I advise you study Senator McCain's political voting history, all of his campaigns talk switch 'o roos; his avid (rabid) support of the Iraq war; and the Keating Five debacle.
After you do your homework if you still want to vote for Senator McCain, you may want to change parties.

Robertson sold his soul to the devil along time ago.

Dear Folk,
One might consider Robertson either crasy or a man of no principals. In fact, he is both, but, not so crazy as to turn down a buck in favor of principals. Pat's concession to the Chinese over obortion (he was in favor of the Chinese governments obortion policy) shows his lust for the dollar. His comments on Chavez and the reason given for 9/11 tells us he's nuts also. So treat him accordingly, as a liar who lusts for the dollar
