Edwards Attacks Factory Closings In New South Carolina Ad
John Edwards has a new ad out in South Carolina, talking about how the mill where his father and he worked is now closed, denouncing how companies have put profits ahead of American jobs:

Exactly correct. This is the message of a Democratic candidate . . .
At least one Democrat made it into the top three . . .

Edwards has a lot of work to do in the state given the latest South Carolina poll that has him at 10%...

This is an awesome ad with a core democratic message. Working males all over America will identify with this message. Also the children whose fathers worked to provide for them in these mills and factories will identify with this message as they know that those jobs provided them the route to the middle class, which is the promise of American.
Those kids will know that their dads sacrificed and worked hard to give them that opportunity and it was only because work was available and paid a LIVING WAGE that they were able to move up and have a better life.
This ad strikes home...especially in the Carolinas where the textile industry has been decimated by outsourcing of mfgring jobs has hit hard.
Outstanding ad.
I am supporting Obama but this ad would make me vote for Edwards in a heartbeat.
Obama/Edwards 08
It may not be PC but I agree with what that woman asked McCain yesterday...quiet as it's kept a significant majority of americans do as well.
