Rhode Island Legislature Votes For Feb. 5 Primary
Yet another state is set to enter the February 5 national primary. Rhode Island legislators voted yesterday to move their primary from March 4 to the new date.
The office of Governor Don Carcieri, a Republican, has indicated that he will not veto the bill.

I feel as though I must be missing something. Is there a rationale behind pushing forward your state's primary reason other than "Then we're specialer!?" It's absurd to spend so much time concerned over all of this. Given by how much primaries are being advanced, by the 2020 elections we'll be running the primaries and the midterms just about simultaneously.
