Paul To Launch Big Ad Buy And Tour In New Hampshire

Ron Paul will be taking advantage of his recent fundraising success by launching a renewed push in New Hampshire.

Beginning Monday, the Paul campaign will begin running a new ad campaign in the state, costing about $1.1 million Additionally, he has four trips to the state planned for November, plus an 11-day tour scheduled for December.

Paul's libertarianism is in many ways a good fit for the state. Combined with his anti-war position, the campaign hopes to further boost his chances by getting registered Democrats to re-register as independents so they could vote for him in the Republican primary.

He's the only one who will stand against the Republican instinct to jump off the cliff. Too bad that even if he did get the nomination, the Republicans would probably damn him with faint praise at best. Ron Paul would be too much of a threat to their traditional gravy trains - lobbyists, defense contractors and wall street.

The Ron Paul Revolution rolls on! Just wait until the Nov. 5th "Ron Paul Money Bomb" -- we are going to raise millions of dollars in ONE DAY!

RON PAUL IS THE ONLY ANSWER AMERICA HAS. I DONT GIVE MUCH WHAT HIS FAULTS ARE. WE ARE SO FAR GONE -- HE COULD NOT 'TOP' WHATS BEEN DONE AND WILL BE BY THE CLINTONS, THE JUDYRUDY, AND ALL THE OTHER DANGEROUS DUDS HOPING TO BUY INTO THE PRESIDENCY. BRING IT ON, RON PAUL. WE CAN LIVE WITH IT.../

Let's not get carried away by Ron Paul. The man may be intellectually honest, which admittedly makes him an extraodinary Republican, but check out his 'issues' on the Ron Paul 'Hope for America' web page. He's as big a gun rights guy as they come. Naturally, he hates taxes, wants them cut cut cut, but how do we pay for the roads when the government stops collecting taxes? Can one Republican please say at what point taxes are just right or sensible? Home Schooling, REAL important issue, and as the west burns to a crisp neither 'Climate Change' or even the 'Environment' win a place in the important 'ISSUES' category. Big, BIG pro-life zealot, but Mr. Libertarian makes no spirited defense for the seperation of church and state. He's full of platitudes, just like the rest of them. 'Straight Talk' is grand and all, but this guy would set the country back 200 years.

Guy that commented before me is a douche bag.

John, thank you for your valuable contribution to the discussion. I see now I misjudged both Ron Paul and his followers. Your eloquence and sharp wit are overwhelming. You are a credit to the movement, Ron Paul would be proud I'm sure.

They better invent a time machine if they want to get Democrats to re-register as republicans in New Hampshire for this primary. The deadline was October 13th.(undeclared voters can vote in either primary; if you were previously registered in one of the parties, it's too late to switch.)

Per 2nd amendment.
Naturally, he hates taxes, wants them cut cut cut, but how do we pay for the roads when the government stops collecting taxes?

Just income taxes. Import duties and user fees will fund the much reduced government. I have to live on a budget - why can't the government?

Can one Republican please say at what point taxes are just right or sensible?

Low enough to keep them out of mischief. High enough to do what they are SUPPOSED to do.

Home Schooling, REAL important issue, and as the west burns to a crisp neither 'Climate Change' or even the 'Environment' win a place in the important 'ISSUES' category.

Much of the National Guard is in Iraq instead of fighting fires. Which of the Democrats with a shot is goint to get us out by 2013?

Big, BIG pro-life zealot, but Mr. Libertarian makes no spirited defense for the seperation of church and state.

Refused to perform abortions as a physician but would leave abortions up to the states. Obviously Utah and Mass. would have different laws. AGAINST a federal prohibition of abortion.

Like voting against Iraq and the PATRIOT act and getting on stage defending his votes?

In the same spirit that I hope for the Bengals to beat the Steelers this weekend, just to tighten up the standings in their division, I for one am an un-redeemed far democratic leftie who hopes Paul scores 30, 40, 50% or more in NH, just to drive the brainless traditional media and the big-time Repubs. crazy.

No way they'll ever let him get the nomination, I mean if you thought the media piled on Dean after his alleged transgression (a non-screaming scream) in 04 or piled on Gore for the highly justifiable rolling of his eyebrows in response to GWB's nonsense in 00, you ain't seen nothing yet. They'll find some fault and tear him into little pieces (taking the media heat off the Dems and helping destroy the Republican coalition) ... and the closer he might come to getting the nomination, the more intense the Republican civil war !

I love it! I'm going to make two new window signs for my car ... "Vote Democratic, Spinelessness Is Better than Evil" and "Vote Democratic, It'll Take 2 or 3 Presidents to Clean Up this Mess" ... and I haven't been registered Democratic since 1990.

Yeah, screw (so to speak) women's rights in Utah.

This is a guy who brought a bill to the floor that would define that life begins at conception. Think about that. Think about the implications. This bill does not comport with letting each state have its say in abortion rights. This bill that RON PAUL introduced, would open the door to doctors from Massachusetts to Utah being prosecuted for murder.

This is a man who says that government governs best that interferes least?

Yeah, run Ron run! He wants to run on a platform to ban Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, no national healthcare of any kind, and no freedom of choice for women, but complete freedom for gunners. Good luck with that, Ron.

user-pic

No matter how much you dislike the direction our government is going it is not rational to find your hope in a man who has a history of flirting with White Supremacy groups. Why will he not release his old newsletters? What will you say to your black, mexican or jewish friends if you vote for this guy? Are we so far gone that we will allow a guy like this to absorb money and time when any serious look at his record means he can't win. There are just some things you should not hold your nose for, veiled hatred is one of those things. Change ths sytem we have, but do it by working with someone better than this guy.

user-pic

Are You Serious

When will Hillary release her papers? After the election thats when. You have a lot of chutzpa wagging your finger at Ron Paul about old newsletters. Since he has refused to perform abortions. take Medicare or Medicaid there has to be somebody who has a grievance against him. Why don't you get off your keyboard and find them?

He can't control who donates to his campaign. Unless they are criminal donations like the type Hillary gets, why should he give the money back. He should apply them to his victory and create the conditions of prosperity that foster hate groups.

ANSWER is a radical Communist outfit. Do you avoid anti-war protests if ANSWER is involved? I don't.

user-pic

Pardon me - create the conditions that prevent the rise of hate groups. Many of these people have born the brunt of globalization. They see their jobs disappearing. They see their taxes going to overseas wars that just burden our country with bills that cant possibly be paid. They see that BOTH parties will do nothing about this.

Then again, some are just hateful.

user-pic

skeptic says:

"Unless they are criminal donations like the type Hillary gets," and

"Then again, some are just hateful."

Pot, meet Mr. Kettle.

If you have any evidence of such "criminal donations" to Hillary, rather than just dark things that you've pulled out of your oriface, why don't you forward such to the Rovian Justice Department or to the Edwards campaign or such? I'm sure they would love to run with your "facts" on this behavior.

user-pic

Yeah, its every day that dishwashers give $1000 dollars to a political candidate. We should all commend Hillary Clinton's ability to inspire the electorate to make such sacrifices.

user-pic

skeptic:

Nice dodge. And your "evidence" of "criminal donations" is . . .

Waiting for such from you with baited breath.

Of course, I understand that YOUR favored candidate only accepts money from the piggybanks of poor children who look to him alone for the promise of a better life under the dream that is American.

And if YOUR candidate happens to become the frontrunner, he, being of an ethical giantude that transcends the 2007 political system that is in place, he would eschew any of the filthy lucre that is now gravitating to Hillary as the current frontrunner.

Right?
