Eidsness Drops Out Of Colorado House Race, Clearing The Dem Field

The Democratic primary field is now cleared in Colorado's Fourth District. Eric Eidsness, a former Reagan Administration official and 2006 Reform Party nominee, has dropped out of the Democratic race.

This leaves the nomination to Betsy Markey, a former aide to U.S. Senator Ken Salazar, to take on Republican Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave.

When you go to the posted website (www.betsymarkey.com) - you should look at her "issues" page. You will see a very thoughtful woman who has a progressive outlook towards working on today's issues.

She is determined to be her own woman and will vote as she believes her contitutents want from her.

There are so many votes that Musgrave has made recently that would have gone the other way. To be current - the S-Chip bill would have received her vote...without a doubt.

I agree with Richard - it is time to go on to her website and "vote" with a contribution.
