Edwards To Get Iowa SEIU Nod
Although John Edwards was unable to get the national endorsement of the Service Employees International Union, he's nevertheless set to get a huge boost from their Iowa local. The local will reportedly pick up the support of the Iowa SEIU on Monday.
Another plus: SEIU locals from other states that were backing Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, such as New York of Illinois, will be forbidden from pitching in for the Iowa campaigns.

Way to go ! Thanks SEIU for picking the better person who really cares about proverty.
Now why does America dislike a man who has attain the American dream of Education and Success?
He was also educated in North Carolina not Yale,Harvard,or MIT so why does America degrade this man so? Just wondering...

Would I be too cynical if I said that John Edwards would not know "proverty" [sic] if it hit him between the eyes? With that $400 hair cut and practiced movie star smile and good looks, he'll have a hard time getting his populist, "two-America" message across the Repub noise and smear machine...
Worse, should he win the nomination, he'll be a dead duck, as, by accepting public financing, he has already unilaterally disarmed for the general election against the eventual Republican nominee. Until it becomes the law of the land, no Dem candidate should ever again self-immolate by accepting public financing.
John Edwards is a "dead man walking", proving the conventional wisdom that says that Democrats don't do "reruns"...

Further good news for Edwards is that the California SEIU apparently endorse him as well which would mean they could send volunteers his way.

Those Ivy League elitists don't know what they are talking about.
