Durbin Attacks Tancredo For "Bigotry And Hatred"
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) went to the Senate floor today and blasted Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO), accusing him of "bigotry and hatred" over Tancredo contacting Immigrations and Customs Enforcement yesterday and demanding a raid on a Durbin press conference at which Tancredo believed illegal aliens would be present.
Durbin said the actual participants at his press conference, to promote his stalled immigration bill, had been checked and were legally in the country — and attacked Tancredo for not looking into that.
"To turn on these children and treat them as criminals is an indication of the level of emotion and, in some cases, bigotry and hatred, that is involved in this debate," Durbin said.
For his part, Tancredo has replied to the Senator in a statement declaring, "Of course, I don’t expect Dick Durbin to be able to tell the difference between legal residents and illegal aliens — after all, this is a man who has already demonstrated that he can’t differentiate between American servicemen and the genocidal foot soldiers of the Khmer Rouge."
Censure Tancredo.

Tancredo is such a creep. My last name is Tancredi and I cringe that his name is so similar. And where did he come from because my family comes from immigrants! Durbin is my Senator and he is wonderful - has a huge heart!

Tancredo's statement calls for an apology in itself. He can't even admit he's wrong; he has to make it worse by insulting Durbin.

Durbin is a gelding just like the rest of the dems so I am not surprised that this idiot Tancredo can get away with saying what he said and did to Durbin. If you don't believe me then just look at Durbin's comeback. Weak! If he was playing yomama with Tancredo he would lose.

I am totally disappointed with the dems. They are a bunch of lily livered cowards. They can't even fight with words against half wits like Tancredo, so how can we expect them to fight for us against the world? No way I am voting for these bunch of saps. Another half wit like Rush Limpdick went after Harry (the sissy) Reid after Reid's pathetic attempt of attacking him. Guess who came out the winner with a million bucks to boot? You guessed it, Limpdick. I think we should all pledge to kick the dems out in the next election. Or at least their leadership. Period, end of story!

There's no doubt that illegal immigration will be a huge sleeper issue for the Repubs next year. It will probably keep them in the White House, since the Dems are too stupid to counter them on it.
