Cheney To Raise Money For Heather Wilson
It turns out that Dick Cheney will be hitting the fundraising circuit in some important races, after all. On Friday, the Santa Fe New Mexican reported that the vice president will be a guest next month at a fundraiser for Congresswoman Heather Wilson (R-NM), who is running to replace retiring GOP Senator Pete Domenici.
Interesting side note: The fundraiser will be in Washington, DC, as opposed to taking place in New Mexico.

Maybe Wilson can get Satan to make a few calls for her too.

I'm thinking a David Vitter endorsement is next, given Ms. Heather's own "interesting" family history... Family values, y'all!

It's worth noting, this was planned prior to her announcement of her Senate run (Domenici retiring), this was originally intended to be a fund-raiser for her House race.

What can Wilson have on the dark demon to make him crawl forth from the bowels of hell to bring her money and who would pay cash money to see a asshole with an18% approval rating?

I'd just as soon not have another executive branch fundraiser here in her home state; we keep losing motorcycle cops during the motorcades...

Maybe Darth Vader will campaign with her as well. That would be great. She wouldn't get 40% of the vote. I can't wait to see the campaign commercials after this one. May the force be with her opponent.

Yes, actually good news for a smart opponent, who should run ads in the general election linking Wilson with Cheney and all the bad things he's done to our country.
I doubt he polls well in New Mexico (or anywhere really).
