Brownback: I'll Drop Out If I Don't Place Fourth In Iowa
Sam Brownback has set his goal for the Iowa caucus: Fourth or better.
In an online chat hosted by the Washington Post, he was asked if it was true that he would drop out if he didn't place in the top four, and he reaffirmed it. "That is correct," he said. "I need to finish in that group to move on forward."
This obviously invites the question: Even if he got fourth place in Iowa, what good would that actually be?

He was third in the straw poll without Giuliani, McCain, or Fred Thompson!
Might as well just drop out now if he's really serious.

Even if he got fourth place in Iowa, what good would that actually be?
If he finishes behind Romney, Giuliani and Thompson, that means he's the only real pro-life candidate going into the southern primaries where he might have a prayer of moving up.

All though Tancredo would probably reject Sam becuase his last name contains the color 'brown' . . . The Republican Dream Ticket remains:
Tancredo/Brownback in 2008.
