New Anti-War Ad Highlights Boehner's "Small Price" Remark
The controversy surrounding House Minority Leader John Boehner's statement that U.S. deaths in Iraq are a "small price" is spreading, and soon it'll be shown some more on TV. The anti-war group Americans United For Change is now running an ad in the districts of vulnerable Republicans throughout the country, publicizing Boehner's remark. The ad then asks viewers to call their congressmen and urge them to condemn what Boehner said.

That is a great ad! Run it NATIONWIDE! Where so I contribute?
Why isn't the Congress voting to condem Boehner's statement? That's certainly more insulting to the troops than the MoveOn ad was.

Grrrreat!
Does Boehner think that the 55,000 lives lost in Viet Nam were a "small price" to pay? Were they a "good investment"?

Boehner protected his hide during the Vietnam war by joining the Navy, then a few weeks in, got a crick in his back and a sweet, well-timed, instant discharge. He was never deployed. He never intended to be. He planned it perfectly. He was just like Beelzebush: First, a safe branch of the service, then get out of that too, since Texas Air Nat. Guard and U.S. Navy can really cut into a young man's time. So yes, I figure Boehner considers 55,000 deaths in that war a nice little investment in the lifestyle he enjoys today. Long as Boehner isn't paying in, he's all for it. The moron doesn't even know how he sounds, he's so trite and dim. These are our leaders, y'all. This is America, 2007.
