Former Prostitute Tells Story About Vitter

If you thought the scandal surrounding Senator David Vitter (R-LA) had died down, think again.

Former New Orleans prostitute Wendy Ellis, a.k.a. Wendy Cortez, held a press conference outside Vitter's Washington office on Tuesday, accusing the Senator of carrying on an affair with her between July and November 1999 — shortly before he ran for Congress on a family-values platform.

"I want the truth to be known," Ellis said. "It was a pure sexual relationship. He would come in and do his business."

Vitter has denied Ellis' specific allegations, though he has admitted to a "serious sin" in his past, for which he has received forgiveness from his wife and God.

Ellis did not comment when asked if Hustler publisher Larry Flynt, who provided documentation of a polygraph test, was paying her for her story. Ellis will appear in an upcoming issue of Hustler.

Selling your story is the American way.

If Mr. Jiggy Pants Vitter didn't want to be in a hooker's story he wouldn't do these things.

user-pic

We know this will be OK with the Republican Caucus 'cause Vitter cheated with a chick, but you have to wonder if his wife is getting those phallus mutilation fantasies again...

user-pic

I thought she was going to give us details! I want details!! Did he like doing it on a waterboard? Or was he just into having his testicles shocked while hooded in a den of barking dogs? You know, GOP style.

More likely he wore a diaper and begged to be burped.

In Louisiana, a politician is in trouble only if he's found in bed with a dead girl or a live boy. So Vitter is clear, but Craig probably isn't.

"I thought she was going to give us details!"

The details have been out on the internet for quite a while now. They were just unverified rumors, but they involved him wearing diapers. Again, just unsubstantiated rumors.

Now this seems like it might be a real (typically republican too!) story here:

US Senate Computer Used For Louisiana David Vitter Talking Points

"Some person or persons working in the US Senate has created or copied a list of talking points which they describe “Key Talking Points” and “Points For Possible Press Release or Letter to the Editor” on behalf of U.S. Senator David Vitter and has been used for distribution to bolster David Vitter’s position as he begins to return to the U.S. Senate this week.

The “talking points” revelation comes at a time when some Republicans are coming out in support of the Senator and have written letters of support for the embattled politician.

The documentation of the talking points is the metatag which is coded in Microsoft Word software. Because of the metatags, these talking points came directly from the US Senate but it is uncertain who drafted or copied the content. Nonetheless, they were likely written or copied and dissiminated by an individual with access to Microsoft Word from a Senate computer.

The content of the talking points are evidence of an orchestrated device to create support for Senator Vitter at a time when he has not made any public appearances since the breaking of the D.C. Madam story.

The document is further evidence that a US government institution is being used for political purposes instead of governmental purposes."

This won't hurt the GOP in 2008, but it can clearly damage Jindal's candidacy in 3 months. Also, Senate GOP really don't need further demoralization at this point. Their situation is worse enough as it is!

AP says the press conference took place at Larry Flynt's office. You say it took place outside of Sen. Vitter's office. Which is correct?

Tangential...but I think I might actually hurt someone if I hear/read that goddamned Huey Long quote one more time.

user-pic

It's nice to see the Senator has been forgiven by god. Now the rest of us can just get on with our business. Nothing to see here!

The GOP morality only goes if there is a Republican Governor to appoint a new Senator so he is OK. Familiy Values aside, now he only has to sleep with one eye open so the wife doesn't pull a Bobbit on him.

Follow the money

Being serviced by hookers several times a week cannot be cheap. I have no idea what Vitter's financial status is, but my experience investigating white-collar criminal behavior has shown that the targets did not become wealthy, or stay wealthy, by spending their own money on big ticket or recurring expenses I believe that it is a safe bet that there is an other-peoples-money stream connected to this story.

Was Vitter actually wearing diapers at least weekly with a prostitute around the same time that...

In Oct. 1998, Vitter attacked President Clinton, arguing the proper question was not whether people cared but rather whether Clinton was “morally unfit to govern.”

Some current polls may suggest that people are turned off by the whole Clinton mess and don’t care — because the stock market is good, the Clinton spin machine is even better or other reasons. But that doesn’t answer the question of whether President Clinton should be impeached and removed from office because he is morally unfit to govern. [Times-Picayune, 10/29/98]

NOLA bumpersticker:

"Clinton never paid for it"

Ladies, gentlemen, please
From now on he is always referred to as "Diaper" Dave Vitter.
The ridicule can never stop. He must wear the name like he what he loaded into the diaper.

Paula Jones was paid by the National Enquirer for her story. When they offered her more money she came up with additional dates where liaisons were alleged to have happened; but the hotel she said they happened in did not exist at the time... I don't believe they used a lie detector test to verify Ms. Jones story.

So, money can lead to exaggeration. I am sure Vitter is guilty of being sleazy and worse a hypocrite, as Clinton was guilty of an extramarital affair with Ms. Jones. The question is are $ leading to the story to be further exaggerated?

The people of New Orleans have suffered enough. Now they have to have sex with Republicans?

user-pic

Where's Lorena Bobbitt when you need her?

user-pic

It's too late. Vitter has already gotten away with it. You silly liberals must look elsewhere for your next trophy.

See how it's done?

Vitter has denied Ellis' specific allegations, though he has admitted to a "serious sin" in his past, for which he has received forgiveness from his wife and God.

I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires.

The old, "God forgives me for what Satan made me do", rational for scumbag behavior is a real favorite among hypocrites. It makes them appear to have the battle of good and evil waging in their soul- they are the battleground for God's ultimate victory. How can we doubt the sincerity of such a holy vessel?

From now on he is always referred to as "Diaper" Dave Vitter

No, no, NO!

Dave "Diaper Boy" Vitter. Puhleeze!

Please write to your senator, and the senators on the ethics committe, demanding an investigation of Vitter.

Better yet, write your letter on a (clean!) disposable diaper, and demand that they 'empty out the stinky diaper pail that the Senate has become'.

"...for which he has received forgiveness from his wife and God."

hmmm, no comment from God or from Vitter's wife, so I guess we're left to take his word on that.

user-pic

How the hell does the author of this know that Vitter has been forgiven by God ? Just curious.
God told me has hasn't forgiven Vitter.

user-pic

Can we have a picture of Wendy instead of Vitter, please?

user-pic

Senator David Vitter should now be known as
Senator David "Didher." That ought to get the Repubs in a tizzy.

And he received forgiveness from his wife (remember the tiger print dress?. Ok, but he also says he received forgiveness fron God, too! Can we see the glorious memo or email, or was it by phone? What an idiot.

Who cares if Flynt is paying her for her story? She passed the polygraph and nobody has said anything about Senator Didher paying her.
