GOP Senator Norm Coleman Calls On Craig To Go

Senator Norm Coleman wants Larry Craig and his wide stance to go, too. His office just emailed over the following statement:

"Senator Craig pled guilty to a crime involving conduct unbecoming a senator. He should resign."

Including McCain, that makes two GOP Senators. Not much hope left, we'd say.

If Craig resigns, does the Republican governor name a replacement or is there a special election?

good question. we'll try to get an answer posted asap

It's a good thing for Norm that adultery isn't prosecuted anymore.

Who cares what Norm Coleman thinks? Norm's an unprincipled moron. He'll jump into any parade that has an audience.

Ok, Coleman was easy. Try cornering Diaper-boy Vitter for his opinion on Craig.

Colman comes closer to actually saying what's really happening (with his "conduct unbecoming" reference).

They want Senator Craig to resign because he's gay.

So Senator Lickspittle thinks someone else should resign... is Normy's Dad still giving advice on where senior citizen's can meet prostitutes?

Jazgar wrote on August 29, 2007 7:11 PM:

What about McConnell? Should he resign too?

When the news came that Sen. Coleman is calling for Senator Craig to resign for (illegal) actions unbecoming a sitting Senator, I thought, whoa, that is just rich. Rich.

He HAD to say "illegal", or he would be calling on his own-self to resign, too! Or is it only unbecoming because it was a gay activity? Apparently hitting on the opposite sex is not unbecoming.

I am certainly NOT a Norm supporter, but I don't believe his dad's actions need to be mentioned here. BTW, he died a few weeks ago.

Did I read the story above correctly? Norm Coleman took a stand on something !?! That's a whole hell of a lot bigger story than any other Republican doing something stupid &/or illegal. I can't remember ever hearing that Coleman ever took a stand on anything.

It is pretty comical that Norm is jumping on his sanctimonious high horse - when he has his own little airport problem: on 9-11-2001 rather than being concerned about the city he was the mayor of at the time - was more interested in one unfortunate young woman who was trapped in the detroit airport with his notorious skirt chasing self... just one of the many normie stories circulating - perhaps he is trying to provide himself a little cover before election time.

Haven't heard about this one.... is there a link to this info?

We have to remember that this senator has consistantly afforded Mr Bushes imperial motives by voting for everything Mr Bush wants. Time for both tog---the sooner the better.
