Quote Of The Day II
It was like a scene from the Borat movie.— Ha'aretz correpondent Shmuel Rosner, commenting on Tommy Thompson's recent remark to a Jewish group that making money is "part of the Jewish tradition."

That's good. It really was about that moronic and offensive.

Republicans just can't get it right these days. It seems their "kharma" has shifted dramatically? One incompetent act or statement after the other.
I doubt if Tommy Thompson is anti-semitic. He is just ill prepared for the office of presidency for which he is running.
His record as HHS Sec is also less than stellar.

I got to know Tommy pretty well after running against him in the 1990 Gov. primary. Not an anti-semite, but he can sure be a bozo at times. this gaffe notwithstanding, he's still the smartest of the Republican candidates. This is not much of a compliment.

Darn. Once again I fail to respect tradition. Donations accepted to help me cover for it.

I warned Tommy not to hire Reggie White as his speechwriter.
