Hillary Pulls Out Of Fox/CBC Debate

And then there were three. Three leading Dem candidates who have pulled out of the Fox/Congressional Black Caucus debate.

Hillary has now confirmed that she's not participating in the debate, joining John Edwards, who pulled out on Friday, and Barack Obama, who pulled out today.

Clinton spokesman Phil Singer emails:

"We’re going to participate in the DNC-sanctioned debates only. We’ve previously committed to participating in the South Carolina and Tavis Smiley debates."

Does this mean the Fox/CBC debate is dead?

Let's hope so.

If the rest don't pull out, anything that comes out of the debate will be twisted and turned and presented as the Democrats' message.

If no one shows up, nothing to twist and turn and mangle.

Good for Edwards, Obama, and Clinton.

"We’re going to participate in the DNC-sanctioned debates only."

Does it mean she's not going to participate in the other CBC debate (even though Edwards and Obama are), or is that one one of the "sanctioned six" and counted in that statement?

"or is that one one of the "sanctioned six" and counted in that statement?"

CNN debate was one of the 6 with the DNC Good Housekeeping Seal of Approaval.

I think they are going to go with Hannity versus Colmes instead.

Any Dem who does participate in a FOX debate will automatically look second string. Just like FOX.
