Hillary Backers Raise Money Off Morris' Vow To "Leave Country"
Now this is a novel approach to fundraising: Some backers of Senator Hillary Clinton are raising money for her potential Presidential bid by reminding people that Dick Morris has promised to leave America if she's elected President. As Election Central reported recently, Morris said on Fox that if she wins in 2008, he's "leaving the country." Now Morris' promised departure has become a rallying cry for fundraising. Vote Hillary.org, an unoffical website supporting the Senator from New York, has posted an ad on their website spotlighting Morris' promise. It declares that by giving cash to Hillary you can "help buy his one way ticket to someplace far away." You can even vote on where Morris should be sent. View the ad here.

I can't agree even with the almost. Morris is a male mosquito: big, slow, easy to swat. Hillary is a female: she'll suck blood out of the Dems, infect them with something dreadful, and fly off. By the time they notice the itch, it'll be too late.

Does this mean Clinton is willing to let slip a sense of humor? As MJR and others have noted, some willingness to display pesonality and passion, even "off the script," might be wise.

What is wrong with these people? They are in a fight with a slimy, amoral, prostitute using media whore. What do they expect to gain? Lay down with mangy dogs, you get the mange. If I was Hillary, I would fire whoever came up with this stupid idea. I doubt if the toe sucker would have come up with something this stupid. It would be best to remind the assh**e after she won. She sure as hell doesn't need the money.

In fairness, I think she has made a statement opposing escalation.
But to answer your question, she is doing what she always does: She is sitting on the fence with a wet finger in the air waiting to discover which way the wind is blowing and how hard. When this is determined, she will take firm inaction in whatever direction she thinks will increase her chances in 2008.
She probably has two sets of campaign posters already printed. One says "Support the troops! Bring them home now!". The other says, "Don't cut and run! Victory in Iraq is right around the corner!"

"Forcefully" is the way I would describe Ted Kennedy's opposition to the escalation - not Hillary's.
