Johnson's chief doctor released a statement saying that his overall condition has improved and that he's being weaned off sedation while his brain heals. Meanwhile, a Johnson spokesperson says that he is responsive to directions from his wife and has not yet spoken. Johnson won't be present next week during the opening days of Congress.
