Newt Gingrich unveils new political action committee and new "contract with America; just in case you thought he's stuck in 1994, his new-and-improved contract specifies that it's "for the 21st century"...News of Barack Obama's land deal with a shady Chicago dealmaker goes national; Obama says he regrets deal and calls self "boneheaded"...Senator Tim Johnson remains in critcal condition after surgery, though he "has appeared to improve" since the operation... California GOP Rep. and Presidential hopeful Duncan Hunter goes to Iowa to tout his own strength, shoots pheasants to prove it...and finally, in a big, big scoop, the Washington Post reports that -- drumroll, please -- Hillary is married to Bill Clinton.

With Gingrich now officially on the political scene, it's guaranteed that from the bully pulpit of the ever-obliging media we will be subjected to a 2 year steady stream of scandalmongering - a strategy he has employed since '73 to advance himself and his party. (By comparison, swift-boaters and their ilk are rank amateurs.) His strategy includes the pernicious tactic of periodically citing published reports of various allegations made against an opponent for which, in fact, he has clearly been the primary source.
Gingrich on the scene should send up a red flag to the Dem party which must be prepared to meet the lies and innuendos immediately - not a week later on a Sunday talk show.

Hopefully, Newt will explain the morality (majority) behind divorcing your wife while she's in the hospital, being treated for cancer.

So the Newt has taken out another contract on America. He 'n his Publican mob are always trying to kill off everything good about this country. It is time to send them to Iraq to finish up the work of THEIR boy king. Maybe they will learn a thing or two. Meanwhile it will keep the scum like them out of our way.
