VA-SEN: Webb: "The Votes Are In, And We Won"
Here's that video of Jim Webb addressing his supporters, shortly after they had taken the lead and a somber George Allen had already spoken to his own supporters about the ongoing count. Note that S.R. Sidarth (of Macaca fame) is one of the people standing onstage behind Webb.

Psyched for Jim Webb--he most embodies the seriousness that Dems showed in this round that, I believes, accounts more than anything for the progress we made last night. I think the electorate was fed up with all the pettiness and silly character assaults that have driven the discourse in the Rove era.
Seperately (and, as a newbie, pls let me know if there is a forum in TPMCafe where I ought to float a more general Q like this), has anybody seen any good roundups on the state legislatures?
Any big flips last night?
This issue could be huge given the precedent Delay et al set on redistricting. Open season and time to consolidate Dem gains, as far as I'm concerned.

And Wolf couldn't cut away faster if he tried. That was the moment of the night for me: it was shoving the Florida 2000 principle up the GOP's rear.
