Pollsters: Dems Hold Commanding Lead In Race For Congress
The latest strategy memo from Democracy Corps, the firm of James Carville, Stan Greenberg and Bob Shrum, takes a look at a batch of recent polls and concludes:
As we head into the final ten days of the 2006 campaign, a wealth of new public poll releases confirm that Democrats hold a commanding and stable lead in the race for Congress. Neither President Bush nor congressional Republicans are making the dramatic changes needed to change the strong change dynamic dominating the political environment on the eve of the midterm elections. Democrats have slipped slightly in the generic congressional contest this week but still lead by 15 points and attract a clear majority of 53 percent across the most recent seven surveys.
Key footnote: The average of all polls of the generic Congressional matchup in October finds Dems leading the GOP, 53.2%-39.2%. For September, the average was Dems 49.1%, Republicans 40.3% -- suggesting that the dynamic hasn't changed despite the commemoration of Sept. 11, the administration's Iraq-and-terror push, and the $40 million the NRCC has pumped into the midterms in the last seven weeks.

Uh, oh - The Dems are in trouble! James Carville and Bob Shrum are the biggest losers on the face of the planet.
Gee, I wonder what Mary Matalin does with all of the information she gets about Democrats for free from her loser husband. James Carville is not only a moron, he is a traitor .
Scratch this election if Carville and Shrum are on the Democrats' payroll. These clowns don't know their ass from their elbow. If the Democrats are relying on those two jerks for the right time of day, the Democrats deserve to lose.
Meanwhile, Mrs Panstreppon has added a photo of Tom DeLay with Rick Santorum and John Doolittle together at the '04 GOP Elected Leadership Conference to her photo album on her very own GOP website. She also added Josh Marshall at the TPM Cafe to her GOP team.
The front page of my very own GOP website only displays the photo of Delay w/Santorum and Doolittle along with one of the Republican thugs at the Miami canvassing board in 2000 and a map of Russian nuclear test and weapons sites in the North of the Federation of Russia.
My very own GOP Manage/Photos page still has a photo of a naked Governor Schwarzenegger, Mark Foley w/five male interns and one female intern, Tom Delay and Jack Abramoff together and one of Conrad Burns wearing a cowboy hat.
I just uploaded the photo of Conrad Burns captioned "Ride 'Em, Cowboy" so that one might make the front page of my very own GOP website.
In my neck of the woods, Peter King is forcing his supporters to pick up his lawn signs while David Meijas, his opponent, is being much more considerate by offering to place the sign in your yard for you. After asking permission, of course.

The GOP Photos Rock Mrs. Panstreppon! They are all such Good Souls aren't they now! Lets hope Bush and his GOP cheerleaders finish the wars they have started before they send the troops to die in another useless conflict in some other foreign land most Americans can't find on a map!
I hope you enjoy spending all the money you raise from the dumb as a fencepost 'GOP base', heh heh heh!
