OH-02: Murtha To Campaign Against Nemesis "Mean Jean"
Jack Murtha is coming to Ohio to campaign for Dem Victoria Wulsin -- and against Wulsin's GOP opponent, "Mean Jean" Schmidt, the woman who memorably called Murtha a "coward" a year ago. Today's Cincinnati Post reports that Murtha will invade Mean Jean's district on behalf of Wulsin this coming Saturday. For Murtha, this may amount to more than run-of-the-mill campaigning. Last November, after Murtha called for withdrawal from Iraq, Mean Jean said: "Cowards cut and run, Marines never do." Murtha, of course, was a Marine. Love that clip. Wulsin should make an ad with Mean Jean fuming, steam coming out of her ears, during her very first Congressional speech, and then just ask, "Is this what we want out of our Reps in Washington?"

For the record, this story was broken by the mighty Ohio 2nd blog. Hate MSM getting credit for being a day late and a dollar short. They even softened the headline.

This was certainly one of the more dispicable performances in this Congress. The chicken hawks berating an honored Veteran (and a stalwart supporter of the military)for speaking out, as so few military men have done during the present fiasco, in an attempt to find a new course. We now know that the military commander, Abezaid, actually went to Murtha on Capitol Hill and privately told him that they were "this far apart" in their views...holding his thumb and index finger not 1/2" apart...so it will be delightful to see Murtha travel to Ohio's 2nd and drive some nails into her political coffin. After Kathryn Harris, there's not a female Republican more dispised.

Hey, sorry about that. Legitimately didn't see your post on it, though I wouldn't really consider us MSM, rather just a national political blog..unless of course you are referring to the AP as the MSM, then they certainly are that.

Did you hear Vic Snyder of Arkansas make them take down her words to see if they were fit to be said on the House floor?
He's the one I hope will replace Sen. Mark Pryor, who helped Bush sell us down the river. It would be excellent to show Pryor the door.
