AZ-GOV: Munsil Mailer Uses 9/11 Images To Attack Napolitano
Check out this new mailer from longshot GOP candidate Len Munsil against Dem governor Janet Napolitano: It uses images of 9/11 to make the case that Napolitano "does not care" about terrorism. Basic argument: The 9/11 terrorists had U.S. driver's licenses; Napolitano supports driver's licenses for illegals; therefore, she isn't serious about terrorism. The Napolitano campaign's response: "For Munsil to put his name on such a piece is to show what kind of governor he would be: reckless and unqualified." The mailer from Munsil -- who's down 43 points in the latest poll -- hasn't gone out to voters yet, but the Arizona Republic obtained an advance copy. View the full mailer after the jump.

Hey - is that a typo on the second frame down? Isn't her first name Janet, not Janel?

Good eye! It's a typo by the Munsil campaign. The copy of the mailers that the Arizona Republic obtained and posted on their Plugged In blog was a draft version. According to the Republic, the Munsil campaign fixed the typo before goint to print.

I spent years proofreading bulk mail copy - I guess it sticks with you...lol
But Janel sounded so...so...well, it made her seem even more like a terrorist sympathizer. They should've left it. :-0

Never mind that all the 9/11 hijackers were admitted legally into the US. This is really quite sad and desperate, and I only wish it were from a candidate in a closer race.
Apparently a drivers' license is a 'domestic passport' that provides 'a presumption of citizenship and legality'. Really? As a permanent resident with a state license, I'm surprised to hear that, and I'm sure that DHS, USCIS and all manner of agencies are too.
