Republicans in Pennsylvania have found a new issue to attack the Democrats with: their attendance at “swanky” fundraising dinners. Scott Migli, the executive director of the PA Republican Committee, went on a tirade last week, blasting Democratic Congressional candidates Louis Murphy, Joe Sestak, Patrick Murphy, and Chris Carney for attending a D.C. fundraiser hosted by “far-left liberal Nancy Pelosi.” The National Republican Committee was probably not aware of this new line of attack, and neither was PA Republican Congressional Candidate Jim Gerlach, who attended a $1000 a plate breakfast fundraiser the morning after Mr. Migli’s rant.
