NM-01: GOPers Fight Wilson Surveillance Bill

The Republican revolt continues. GOPers on the House Judiciary Committee want to kill a surveillance bill sponsored by Rep. Heather Wilson because it doesn’t do enough to protect civil liberties or to codify the program. Wilson’s bill, which she used to demonstrate her independence from the President, apparently ceded too much power to the executive for her fellow Republicans.
