This ad by GOPer Vernon Robinson has already gotten a bit of attention, but there's a real doozy of a moment in the ad which to our knowledge has passed unnoticed. Robinson -- who's running against incumbent Dem Brad Miller -- has run a bunch of ads which, in an almost comically desperate bid for attention, slam Miller on illegal immigration in all sorts of lurid ways. This one's no exception, intoning: "These illegal aliens pay no taxes but take our jobs and our government handouts then spit in our face, and burn our flag." But the real news is that in a quick flash it depicts one illegal alien flipping viewers the bird and another grabbing his crotch. Does Robinson think this should run on TV stations that kids might be watching? We've posed the question to the campaign. Stay tuned.
