Heartland Republicans Turning On GOP
Are heartland Republicans turning on the GOP? Reuters interviewed voters in a dozen heartland districts and found that many of them are willing to vote Democratic, but mainly as a vote against the GOP. "Heartland districts held by Republicans are among the most at risk," Reuters says. "Seven Republican seats now lean Democratic, including three in Indiana and one each in Iowa, Texas, Colorado and Arizona. Another 10 Republican seats nationwide are considered pure toss-ups...No Democrat seat is considered at risk."
